That’s just wrong. You are not buying exp vs sitting in front of a computer grinding them….all the stuff you buy you can get free while afk with minimum time spent, just need to wait. Spending money in this game just gets you instant gratification not saving any time.

No, I don't think it's related to the HQ level but maybe to the number of times you can purchase the pack per day.

a month is a long time in Last War. so i might buy monthly pass straight away. then after a month you will be much further ahead. i don't know how long i can go before i want to start a new charachter back at the beginning .😀

@@doughaines5300 Honestly, I was thinking to start a new character too 😊. There's much more fun in the early stages. Everyone is more or less equal in terms of power, which means you have higher chances to evolve amongst the most powerful players on your server. And the best thing is that things don't take long to upgrade.

@@stevengarcia9367 how are you elite if you didn't spend a dime?? If you didn't even buy a second building quee then the development will take forever. For keeping up with the server, buying 2nd and 3rd building quee & 2nd Tech centre seems very essential

@@medievalfun I find it hard to believe he's elite not spending a dime, even if he plays all day. He'll probably say he doesn't do that either. These kind of boasters are in every free-to-play game. I put in some money to, and I find it harmless.

honestly I prefer the drone pack over the valor pack. I think the valor pack has terrible value. 120 euros for 1K valor badges is terrible value as getting 7.2M in 1 day of VS gives you allready more. This is terrible advice you give. The 60 euros drone skill chip has much more value.

this game is nearly impossible to be competitive in unless you spend (P2W). You're fooling yourself if you think you will compete against whales as a F2P player. Sad truth!

@@ServantV-om9nq If your goal is to be among the top 10 players on your server, then yes, it won't be easy. Otherwise you can still enjoy playing the game and win plenty of individual rewards and events such as the Arms Race as an f2p player. We have plenty of guides to help you out 🙂

No it is easy. I have free to play account, I don't purchase anything even a builder (just kimberly basic building in base because i can't move it so annoying, well if u dont have ocd you don't need to purchase it, no effect cuz u still can get Kimberly for free) and i can compete with people who spend money around 50-100$ u have to discipline in this game and do the calculation, arm race, alliance duel, get the capitol buff, u have to maximize it. For free to play player there is 2 kind of set up. 1. Front row : william, murphy. Back row : kimberly, dva, marshall. 2. Front row : william, murphy. Back row : mason, Kimberly, marshall. I always laugh to people who spend alot of money but i can still win against them 🤣

Competing against whales isn't the only measure of success. A true whale is impossible to beat, that is true, but you can be what is often referred to as a dolphin: a moderate but strategic spender. I've bought a couple of key hero battle passes, second and third builder, second tech center, and 4* Taylor because she's a permanent boost (5* is too expensive for the additional marginal utility). I buy the monthly pass. I never buy the daily must-buy or weekly resource packs because they are ephemeral boosts, non-tank heroes (DVA, Carly, McGregor) even if they're supposed to be really good, or diamonds. I also manage the timing and level of spending to maximize spending bonuses like moonstone blessings. The current best spending bonus in my opinion is at 300 units, which is monthly pass + $5 Kim pack once a month.

@@headlibrarian1996 I agree 100%. I don't care about whales, I just enjoy the game. There are plenty of solo activities/events or with my allies to keep me busy, especially now with Season 2.

you don't have to fight whales. when it comes to competing in battles usually the whales battle it out between them and the others fight kinda on equal grounds. The only thing P2W has a huge impact is the pvp events. But those aren't imo not even really the major part of the game. It is all about SvS battles. And even a lvl 20 can zero a lvl 30 in those as during SvS you shouldn't have troops on your walls.
