Your math for mines and farms doesn’t take into account the survivor multipliers. With gold survivors you get almost 3 times the benefit for upgrades. The payoff times are still not good, but you may want to consider that in future calculations.

if you're an engineer and have the skill "rapid production and you stack it with secretary of interior, the math is pretty good because the skill gives you the equivalent amount of resources in 24 hours so the higher level the mines the more you get back. You get to use rapid production every 24 hours. I make close to almost 95 million gold in a week just using rapid production with secretary of interior. If you include the rss gathering boost with survivors and secretary of interior then well over 100 million gold and other resources a week and you get better cash flow

@@Lastwartipsandtricks Just as an example, using rapid production and secretary of interior, it would only take 29 days for the gold mine upgrade from 23 to 24 to pay for itself, using my actual measured numbers, and my survivors have lots of room for improvement, and I'm not in season 2 yet.

I agree to an extent with the mines/farms. You also have to take into account that with tech that production is rapidly increased and in age of oil, the production is increased by 25% with tech. On top of that, if youre an engineer, youve got rapid production so itll give you 24 hours worth of materials. With all that, i get over 20 mil just from rapid production and the mines/farms

@@tnpsegim no because the cost to upgrade is too much compared to 60 additional troops it saves. Training and speeding up 60 instantly is a lot cheaper.

Early on they offered things like ponds, flamingos, benches & ginko trees, of course I bought them all...what do they do? Are they helpful? Now they're offering ginko tree 2, any reason to purchase??? On top of everything else they make my base look ugly/ messy. Should I keep them? Those did not help. I made those mistakes early as well and then I punted decor for awhile because I felt burnt by them😂. Then, I realized decor is great if you get the right decor😂

I got so many resources that I level my farm, gold, iron up just for VS points alone cause they don’t take as long as other buildings. I’m not really a spender, but I save stamina refills for Zombie Invasion every 2 weeks and farm around 200-300mil resources every 2 weeks from it. I got them all at 24 right now but still help me get all my VS milestones. Also in your math of how much resources you get from each, should take survivors into account. 3/5 of each of my resource buildings have full legendary survivors so it’s an extra 200%.

Keep in mind the legendary miners and improving their stars will increase coin/iron/food output. Does it mathematically make sense? I doubt it but they do make a difference in time and output....

Survivor multipliers, rapid production and secretary of interior yields me over 50mill combined rss every day! It has payed for itself to have them all up to 27. Im about to have enough speedups to make the jump from.27 to 30 and for sure i will upgrade my farms/mines up to 30. Best passive income

The builder's hut doesn't work that way. It doesn't increase the effect of free speedups by 20 minutes. A 5min speedup will boost your progress 5 minutes. The free speedup feature reduces the overall time of an upgrade by that amount. So, when you start a 12 day long building, it's now 11 days, 23 hours and 40 minutes. A waste of resources to upgrade the builder's hut.

For the mines you also missed the buffs from tech research, VIP and city capture which amplifies the real number. I worked out for one of my farms i can sustainably one per month and doesn't include collecting with sec role

I dont think the builders hut is very important , its only going to add what 20 more minutes in 10 levels from 20. My free speedup time is already 12 + hours thanks to help , survivors and the season 1 free speed up every build

⁠@@Lastwartipsandtricksmaybe I’m not understanding correctly but I believe builders hut just reduces the build time. It doesn’t increase time for each alliance help you get (which would be amazing). I looked at my hut trainers and I have 5 hours and 46 minutes of free speed up time. I increased the builders hut from lvl 11 to 12 which moved the free time from 6 to 7 minutes and my total time to 5 hours 47 minutes. Unless I’m misunderstanding something that seems like a really bad return

Multiplying additional resource output by the maximum production time doesn’t make sense unless you plan to only collect resources once a day. Multiply the hourly increase by 24 to get the additional output for a day. Also you will have some tech that gives you a percentage increase in output and territory also gives various percentage increases in output. So your payback period is actually much less than half what you calculated. Though it is correct that you don’t get the other resources back that go into each upgrade and that diminishes the returns from upgrading.
