I've seen other translations say "sorry sasuke, there won't be a next time" which makes more sense as it refers to the "maybe next time" excuse he would always give sasuke as a kid. His actual last words to sasuke was after defeating kabuto. "no matter what you do from here on out, I will love you always.”
