if you think about it Home stuck is REALLY sad but not JUST the ending but the fact that the Beta kids never got to say goodbye or fix up anything with their parents/guardians before they died. The alpha kids however (With the exception of Jane and possibly Roxy) basically grew up alone, raising themselves to be who they are now. When the alpha and beta kids everyone but John and Jane meet their supposed guardians. at the 'end' of homestuck or close too we see Janes Dad, who only hugs john as he thinks john is his father completly ignoring Jane. John however never gets to see his REAL father again as he and Roses Mum was killed in previous chapters. Thank you for coming to my ted talk

Kind of? Like Fun said he gained a bigger following as the comic went on, and thus other artists started working with him. The overall style remains the long sticky figures and the mspaint looking style. But mixed in are these extra parts that show off the badass fights and just emotional moments. I'm not a die hard homestuck, I was at one point but lost it during the megapause but came back to watch the end because...just kind of had to see that ending.

i still cant make it through this video, ive never been able to reach the end because the pangs in my chest and the lump in my throat practically suffocating me. i listen to this song with multiple videos from different things, all of which hit me in the heart but none of them jerk my feelings so much as this one. i wonder if its because the kids literally caused the end of the world, and saying goodbye is something the kids never got to do. some died before saying goodbye again, parents died before the kids could tell them how much they meant. i havent been a homestuck fan for very long, but even i recognize how powerful this video is for the fandom. it really tugs at my heartstrings and i hope one day ill be able to look back at this video, far past my days as an active homestuck fan, and still remember how good it felt to feel such intense emotions and to feel so emotionally attached to something. thank you, and, i hope i wont have to say goodbye all too soon.

I know that the original release date was supposed to be 2014, but apparently the original developers for the game (The Odd Gentlemen) received the Kickstarter money meant for Hiveswap and instead used it to develop a completely different game, King's Quest, (which is super messed up, not to mention illegal.) Now What Pumpkin has to make the whole game themselves, which will probably take a while. So, as excited as I am, I know I gotta wait, all because of some asshole devs :/

Why does some of the scenes here are unrecognizable? Like the Splitting Gamzee in half part, is that really part of Homestuck? I haven't seen that part and I'm pretty sure I finished Homestuck. Is it because I skipped many stuff? Like the entire scratch intermission?

yeah man all scenes here happened in the comic. your number one mistake , never skip ANYTHING in hs. You will miss out on a lot things especially if you skip the intermissions.

It's been two years since Homestuck ended, I kept roleplaying as my favorite character WV. Time flies fast, passing every second of us. Eventually I would lost interest in it, and left completely but as the week past by I looked back into the past I had fun back then, just looking back at Homestuck's roleplay really made me glad I was apart of it, heck even the community made me glad I was apart of it. I wish I could go back in time just to re-read and roleplay with most of my HS friend. I wish the best of days for you all.
