@@levis6945 That's not how it works. You find true love and true love only comes once in a lifetime - and in every lifetime. Most people are good people trying to make it with yet another "crush" but trust me the love of your life isn't just a crush it's above anything you can feel in life.

My first time hearing this song live. Needless to say the radio version doesn’t even compare. Joe’s voice is magical. I’ve been in love with his music since his first album. My heart skips a beat when I hear his vocal range. This Man is pure R&B. One of my favorite singers of all time. Joe producing anything but hits is impossible. So underrated. Give the man his flowers 🌺. 🌺 he deserves every one. J.O.E😘

Elizabeth U are a refreshing spirit I must say. Your totally unlike anyone I've met in the Community in a long time. I absolutely love this man's music. I have been a fan since the early 90's. He's so underrated. There isn't a song I don't love. I just hate you live so far away. I would kidnap you and we'd go see him together. We are going to be great friends. Your love of art and music is unbelievable. Do you like poetry as well? The Maya Angelou, Sonia Sanchez kind of poetry? I really dig Edgar Allen Poe, David Frost and Shakespeare too but I like the black national works of the 6o's-70's where feminism met civil oppression that sparked the civil rights movement. Anyway you're one cool woman. One I'm very glad to now know.
@elizabethnicole49 жыл бұрын
Girrrrrrrrl! I Love me some Joe! And thank you @CJ J for the kind words! I'm what I like to say a rare bread lol. I have been a fan of Joes since mid to late 90's and I too haven't heard anything of his that I don't love! And now that I know you love him too I'd love to go to a concert with you...I don't know where you live but I'm in St Louis and maybe if he performs somewhere in between we could go one day together, that would be pretty cool! You seem like one pretty cool woman too and I'm thankful to have met you! That place called the living room he was performing at is in Brooklyn NY...thats on my bucket list of things to do- go to NYC and take photos galore :) I do like poetry I just don't read it or go to listen to it really I like all things art...Maya Angelou has great work. I'd like to get more into it and even go listen sometimes. I always imagine myself going to a local business coffee shop, with low warm lighting, couches, big cozy seats, big love sak cushions on the hard wood floors, the smell of incense burning, art work and photos hung on the walls, many different races, and a small stage up front by these big floor to ceiling windows and exposed brick walls with a mic, for poets to come and speak truth and inspire people to want to make a difference, and also for people to play the sax or trumpet play some jazz also for entertainment. I'd wear my knit cap and carry my big peace sign hobo bag over my shoulder, sit on a big cozy chair and drink some peppermint tai chi tea and take it all in :) I love lots of genres of music, r&b is my favorite, I also like jazz, free jazz, pop, indie rock, "conscious" rap, some rock, some country, gospel, christian music, I usually can find something I like in all genres.
@chyreljjackson25929 жыл бұрын
We sound like the same woman of course me just being black. People that know me often refer to me as the black Mary Tyler Moore. (-: I really feel life is way better when all of God's children get along. You know the whole old Coca-Cola I'd like to teach the world to sing commercials with all the black and white people smiling, hugging and singing. I wish our world could really be like that. Anyway I digress Elizabeth hey I live in the dirty south Mississippi. St. Louis is about only 4-5 hours apart. I would be honored to listen to Joe or some other musical artist with you. There isn't a genre of music I don't like. Grew up on the Rolling Stones, Eagles, Janis Joplin, Kenny Rogers, Ronnie Milsap, Ray Charles, Rick James you name it we played it in our house. You would fall over knowing the united nations music fest that I grew up with. We must exchange music war stories I would really like that. Honey we're only a couple of hours away. We have to work really hard to meet up when the weather breaks. I would love to see your photography. You seem really fun and boy did you capture the whole essence of a Smokey filled poetry cafe. I just love it. That's exactly what its like. You sound like such a nice and joyful person. Women usually get on my nerves with all the estrogen wacky Sybil moments we seem to always have. You don't seem like that so much. Oh well I hope you're having the most amazing weekend ever. Let's really work on speaking to each other often. I really get the feeling I want to be part of your hemisphere.
@elizabethnicole49 жыл бұрын
Well 4-5 hours is nothing...I've driven straight through to Florida which was about 16 hours or so and I drove to Texas in July and going back for New Years and that is a 12-13 hour drive for me. Ha I love how you said you get the feeling you want to be part of my hemisphere...thats so deep and awesome. And I know what you mean about women and the sybil moments...women can be so judgmental and cause unnecessary problems. You and I will definitely keep in touch and be good friends. 2015 is going to be a wonderful year and we're gonna go see Joe!!!! Yay!!! Or listen to poetry somewhere. Hope you have a wonderful week filled with much happiness.

What happened to music these days? I love it all; r&b, hip hop, country, metal, reggae, pretty much everything. It doesn’t matter what genre you particularly like, it seems like music as a whole peaked around 20 years ago. Why is that? Surely some young kid out there has the ability to rise to the level of an artist like Joe, Bob Marley, George Strait, etc. What’s stopping them?

Love this clip! Love it - what a talent Joe is! The production on this is tight and how great are each of these players! The guy on Joe's right in the tan pants is lovin' it. Sooooo good to see great musicians enjoying what they do.

Acoustic, sing to me JOE! “Sayin ain’t so JOE” don’t retire. You have an amazing talent, to still be listening to this over and over again in 2019 soon to be 2020, should tell you the impact of your style (you have an old soul that knows music). Retired or not! THERE IS ONLY ONE “JOE.”🎶

I love this guy and his music man. His talents, skills, longevity, and his discography is no joke. He's been in the game for what like 25 years now and he's still going strong. Joe Thomas is the true King of R&B because he makes amazing music with amazing voice and actual substance in his lyrics and stays true to himself, stays out of trouble, and always makes great music and longevity. Also can we take a moment and recognize how great this guy sounds live, matter of fact sounds as good if not better live. One of the best R&B vocalists out there who sound amazing live. A true legend!!!
