Worked at this liquidation outlet a while back and the bitch of a manager (the only thing good about her was her taste in music) would play this song on speakers (not intercoms) and I just loved this one. I met this girl back in 2018, she introduced me to Crystal Castles music, up until that point I had only listened to them in the alice practice episode of Skins. Everything was ruined with her, she disappeared from my life during the pandemic and we were away for many years. We got back together in 2021 but we broke up recently, even if I never see her again, this songs will always remind me our time together.

The same thing happened to me with my friend, I did not know his real name or age, I think he is 16 years old, my friend, well, ex-friend (he no longer speaks to me either) has bipolar disorder, ADHD, depression and I think he suffered abuse, however he was very happy, almost always, there were days when it seemed that he was going to commit suicide, And those days were the worst in my relationship with him, we had a connection, it seemed as if fate had wanted us to know each other. I do not believe in fate, but I did not have the feeling of being a coincidence, every afternoon when I returned from school or in classes where there were no teachers I talked to him, at first I felt that it was something surreal and it was only my imagination, I really like Russian culture and talking to someone of that nationality was a dream come true, He had an inner beauty that I have always admired, honestly I am very sullen and I do not like affection very much, His way of expressing himself through art was incredible, It was abstract, adorable and sometimes even gave a sense of fear, and all that I love about him, I think I was very lucky to meet him, as I learned many things and will always be grateful for his wonderful friendship. My life has always been boring, routine, monotonous I think sometimes, but meeting him, was like admiring a fireworks show of emotions, but it ended as quickly as it started, for some strange reason, I have the feeling of having stayed in the last year where all this happened, as if time had stopped since we became a couple, (by the way we finished when barely a week passed and I think it was the best, but it is costing me a lot, I did it for my studies, but in part it was my fault, since I thought I had everything, and it was not like that) Again, I am very sullen and I do not like affection very much, but he, I gave my life for him, even if it was not worth it, since he spent all day at home, he did not study at school, but if at home and soon he would go back to school, that makes me so happy and I would have liked him to tell me his first day, but that will no longer be positive, I hope that in the future we will meet again, I would like to talk to him once again and tell him how proud I am of Dmitry and how much I love him.

For anyone who doesnt know the story behind the song. A worker committed suicide into a vat of industrial plastic at the factory where he worked. It was at or near where they lived. I never knew that originally. To me the song sounded melancholic, triumphant & regretful, synthetic and angelic all at once. Which actually perfectly fits the subject matter
