Thanks for the tip on the Ellis Island music venue! I stayed there during a convention in July but I'm strictly business when in LV. I am looking forward to true talented jazz/pop live performances. I've done two business meetings at Vic's and their lounge did not disappoint...quiet, talented young artists (I think from a local conservatory?) and a lady who played a wonderful piano session.

The Steakhouse is not cheap, however.

It is quiet and the slab of beef hang in their cooler. It is not al a carte. It's the best and you are treated very well. We have been going there for over 30 yrs. Only 25 or so tables. Many famous steakhouses are loud and crowded. It's worth every cent. We always take a cab to get there.

Had an argument/discussion on the "for" vs "to" payout with a poker player on the crap's hard 6 & 8 payout. He insisted that "10 for 1" is better than "9 to 1". I did your example with the chips but he stood his ground. Unfortunately since he was a respected poker player most of the players sided with him.
