Great video and recommendations! I can't wait to try out some of these restaurants. BBQ Chicken supposedly uses olive oil to cook the chicken so it's "healthier" and it's cook to order. That is why it might be more pricey.

I have been binge watching your videos for our upcoming trip in April. Your videos are very informative and you tell us what's good and what's not good at the restaurants and I like that. Can you give me some names of the best places for AYCE sushi? Thank you
@lasvegaseats7022 жыл бұрын
AYCE near Chinatown... Sushi Neko, Yama Sushi, Umiya Sushi, and "It's Sushi." These are closer to the strip... personally I like 2 places in Henderson... Top Sushi and Blue Fin. If you want high-end there are some nice ones such as Sushi Samba, Yui Edomae, Kabuto, and Nobu.

While I'll still probably try Orchid, I do find it funny that a dish that's at most $3 in Vietnam is $17 in Vegas. Goes to show how few Vietnamese restaurants we have in town.
@lasvegaseats7023 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I was in Thailand last year and I was blown away by the prices. I don't think it can get down to $3 even with a lot of restaurants here... Little Saigon in Orange County, CA for example. I wish though 😆

Haven’t been to Vegas in a couple of years. This new mall looks to be across the street from the original Chinatown mall with Ranch 99 and Sam Woo. Definitely have to try this place out the next time I’m in Vegas.
@lasvegaseats7023 жыл бұрын
Yes it is across from the original Chinatown mall.. but slightly east of it (closer to the I-15). You can check it out by searching for Shanghai Plaza on Yelp.com

I think steak served on a hot skillet originated in Taiwan to cut down on cooking time as the non-steak ingredients basically cooked itself on the skillet

@@romeoalphafoxtrot9517 not sure about that anymore. Prices in southern California are almost the same or more these days because of the pandemics. Restaurants are doubling their price for most dishes to make for the lost of customer.
