If we got ward or Saunders, i would be fine with that. Clearly both than what we have in the QB room now. But, i still think 6' 5", 235# Drew Aller out of Penn State has the most upside. He has the same body as josh allen and justin herbert. And by the way, Tellesco like's big quarterbacks like Andrew Luck and Justin Herbert. Just sayin...

OK Hondo, here are my concerns about Shedeur Sanders. He walks off the field before the end of a game. He doesn't shake hands with the opponent after a game (I think this happened once). He has not been coached by anyone other than his father in his college career. For me this is a concern because I do not know how he is going to react to be coached by someone other than his father in the Pros. Yes, the kid is a physical talent. He holds on to the ball to long because he wants to protect his completion percentage. He has thrown his O-line under the bus. He is a golden spoon kid. He has never wanted for anything. I do not know what is truly important to him. Is it winning championships or is it his brand?

The standard is the standard. That’s what the coaches preach and the players echo. So there is no reason to treat the results of a season at different. If you have some injury issues or a need for an upgrade at the QB position I would still expect no worse than 7-8 wins. Winning 2-4 games is not acceptable, period. There has to be a coaching change, the standard is the standard, and while growth can take time we can’t be the worst team in football and keep our job.

Hondo, Nothing wrong with success or prosperity. The more I find out abt Sheduer the more I want the Raiders to stay away from him. He (and his brother) picks fights with the water boy & he taunts opponents. He flashes his $70K watch. We don’t need this immaturity and brashness. And in Vegas? Sin City? I think AP knows AOC gives him the best shot at winning a couple. And if he wants hope he can keep his job he needs to win. If he loses out and going 0-6 in the division isn’t going to look good.

@ I think people love Aidan because he looks like normal guy. Nothing flashing. They want him to succeed because he is relatable to the common person. This issue I have is that he already has succeeded. He’s just not who we need. We’re not the 9ers we don’t have a system where a 7th round draft pick can be the starter and just not mess it up because everyone else on the team is a superstar. We need a Josh Allen or a Mahomes or Jackson type player. A difference maker. Not a system guy.

I don’t know much about Dylan Gabriel but it seems like every time we pass on an Oregon qb they end up being pretty damn good. Even Mariota had success early on. Also, how weird would it be to draft Gabriel and have 3 out of 4 AFC west qbs be from the same school
