She had excellent soft skills as well and was always very graceful. The way she conducted herself was exemplary. Apart from musical talent, these skills put her above the rest. She had been like this from her very young age of early twenties. God knows how she handled pressure of being no one to fame at such a young age. Doubt if the CEO of any large MNC would be able to speak so fluently with such short notice. These days, all management gurus talk about leaving comfort zone etc. But that's not always correct. One can incrementally expand it's sphere of influence. No need to take drastic jump and take unknown risk. A sign of a great person is that, he/she know their strengths and weaknesses. Lataji remained in the Bollywood/ Indian music industry throughout her life. She knew herself that she was not cut for active politics and refrained from joining that. She did expand her sphere of influence by singing in many indian languages though. If we watch people around us carefully, successful people are those who know themselves (talent and limitations). NOT doing an unknown/unwanted thing is equally important as doing something. Lataji excelled in that. Hats off to her once again.
