Latasha Garrett (West Ashley Head Start) - April 2015 Teacher of the Month

Our April Teacher of the Month is Ms. Latasha Garrett, a senior Head Start teacher at West Ashley Head Start. Assistant Associate Superintendent Ruth Taylor and Head Start/Early Head Start Director Dena Davis surprised Ms. Garrett with a gift package and flowers earlier this week. She is a five year veteran who “empowers her parents by providing them with appropriate home activities to enhance their child’s school readiness skills,” according to her Program Director Frances Shaw who nominated her for this recognition.
