Not only is it smart but it’s actual journalism. They open up and voluntarily tell us their actual stories while having fun doing so. That looked therapeutic for LaTavia as well as for us - her fans. That voice, that sass is still there but we probably didn’t get the opportunity to hear it because the media already decided what they wanted to hear from her.

LaTavia THEE Roberson, you deserve a field of flowers. THIS was the interview that she needed to hold space for her. The tenderness, the affirmations…it was disarming and it was clear that LaTavia felt free to show up as her most authentic self. As a kid i stanned those first two albums; i wanted to be her sooooo bad cuz she was brown skinned with a deeper voice like me AND she was fly with poppin red hair. As a grown woman, I can see that her journey & destiny may appear to be more complex than expected…but it’s hers and it’s worth celebrating. Thank you for this Destiny Filled S6 finale week, forreal💛

I am a destiny’s child fan since it’s inception and recall the craziness around the situation but having heard it directly from her really made me feel for her that much more deeply. And for those in the comments talking about her lack of singing , she is obviously not comfortable projecting because it’s not what she desires for herself and hasn’t been singing in years. Give the girl a break and enjoy the fact that we actually get to see her in 2023 with all the girls . Thank you Terrel for making this happen. It’s so special .

Betrayal trauma is so difficult to get through and for that to occur within a group of people that you were friends with at more vulnerable ages. She was gracious in her representation of the situation but this is big Latavia. I empathise because in as much as it is business it was still very personal. I’m sorry that they did that to you.

My heart breaks for her and letoya. They were something magical. Not to take away from Michelle because Michele brought magic too. But these 4 women just brought something truly magical. I always used to think and wish they were both well out in the world whenever I hear their songs.

@florazul5240 You definitely aren't mega fans like we are. Yes michelle is a better singer.. But latavia's tone added a richness to the group harmonies. The group never needed extra solo singers. Kelly and Beyoncé were fine singing lead..latavia and letoyas voices were special in those harmonies. The group wasn't the same when she left. They lost a little bit of a kick.

This episode was done with sensitivity and care. Terrell really tapped into her vulnerability and held her strong and ensured she felt safe. Thats the gift Terrell has he was able to ask those pertinent questions with care and style he was not looking to sensationalise nor glamourise but wanted Latavua to have her voice heard. At least we heard the truth from Her. I hope she puts her story in a book from what she said she has a kot to say and it will be inspirational for a lot of peoole. When she feels ready and able. I wish her the very best in all her endeavours. Great eoisode Tereel great season 6. Cant wait for season 7.

Being called deaf is not at all an easy thing to digest ... admittedly she didn't have Beyoncé's voice, she couldn't sing the lead role but she could sing a few verses of Destiny's Child songs and basically she was supposed to be the Destiny's Child rapper... I don't know if it was Beyonce or her Father as Manger of the group, who called her deaf, one thing's for sure, hearing that as a teenager is not easy and that for a while, musically, broke LaTavia, she lost self-esteem and self-confidence ...
