I just want to say, you saved my life. I was planning to commit suicide on February 23rd. I am a 13 year old in girl in 7th grade that has been getting bullied since 6th grade. Ever since a bullying incident where I got humiliated in front of my entire class, I've wanted to die. I felt like a sensitive freak. After that, things went down hill. I got ruder and started to joke about death. I think my close friends noticed that I changed too. After being rude, I felt like a horrible person that deserved to feel pain, while still getting bullied. I started to self harm. I recently quit self harm and I've gone 11 days since I last have intentionally harmed myself. I'm trying to get better all by myself, but it's really tough on me. I have failed to hang myself 4 times already, but I didn't try very hard and was very hesitant because I was scared. The main reason I got bullied in the first place is because I was always a happy, empathetic, and sensitive person with unique interests. Being an easy target, people have used my interests as an excuse to hate on me. I love anime, art, piano, Japanese culture and language, and indie games like Omori. Recently, I've lost MOST of my fears of death. I'm only slightly hesitant, so close to doing something that most likely will kill me (jumping). I made a plan. I'd be there for my best friend's birthday on the 22nd and send her an animation I made for her. Then, I'd finally end my "pathetic" existence the day after. However, watching an older man connect with the young by playing my favorite game's song, made me think, "What if I grow older and be an inspiration to younger audiences?" This video made me cry hard, especially while writing this. I don't want to die no longer. I instead, will persevere no matter how long it takes. Thank you so much.

Hello! I suggest you talk to your parents. I'm sure they will help you! Life is worth living and many happy days are ahead of you! There are hard times in everyone's life, but things get better, it just takes time. Your age is a transitional period and it is important to share with your loved ones what excites you. If I can help with something? You must have a favorite tune that I would try to play… I wish you courage with your problems and pleasant moments away from such ideas!

@@LatchezarDimitrov this is actually my favorite song! Another one I really love is called “Daten” or “Falling” by Creepy Nuts! It would be really cool in a violin arrangement if possible, thank you for the lovely message. I’ll eventually try to talk to my parents and make a plan. Thank you so so so so much. You’re very kind!!

Wishing you well ❤. HS senior here, my time in middle school was tumultuous as well, so while times are tough, do know that things will get better. Trust me, what you think of yourself is much more important than what others think of you. Be kind to yourself, this experience will only serve to make you stronger and kinder. I recommend to you Vinland Saga (S2 especially) and praying to God/Christ (even if you’re not of faith). Find peace in the fact you have great friends despite all the opposition you’re facing. Do be wary though of the effect music might have on you, it tends to have a “multiplying” effect, so listen to some songs that bring you peace (Lo-fi, Lamp, Kirinji, Kaede, Rook1e, and Potsu are some of my recommendations) in addition to the ones that let you pour your heart out. My heart goes out to you ❤ and glory to the almighty ✝️! Peace and じゃあね

you, sir, are an inspiration. i’ve been playing violin for 13 years (i’m 17), and it’s so refreshing to see an older person connecting with the younger generation through music. i’d say i’ve been doing well with technique, but what i’m truly missing is the soul and the musicality. that’s not really something you can get through technique alone. and hearing you play this relatively simple piece in such a soulful way brings tears to my eyes. thank you for the great music
