Fished several times this past week on the North end of the lake w/ limited success... no real discernable pattern and fish were widely scattered. Caught fish on the Ned Rigs around docks/ blow downs and main lake points w/ Swim bait, Jerk Bait and Sebile Magic Swimmer but no real outstanding outings... until yesterday! All the stars aligned w/ cloudy skies, a low pressure system approaching from the West and a nice breeze coming in from the East/ North East creating just the right amount of chop on the water. Air temps were around 60 degrees and water temps were in the low 70s. The BassForeCast app had highlighted the time slot between 2 - 4 as being the best time to fish so I cleared my calendar and set out right at 2PM. We had a full moon on Tuesday and pretty sure the last wave of fish spawned out as the 'wolf packs' were all of a sudden back where they should be for a change. Started catching fish right out of the chute over saddles between islands and mainland and main lake points by targeting them w/ the Sebile Magic Swimmer when they were between 5' - 15' down and the MegaBass Vision 110 Jr. +1 Jerk Bait when they were deeper than that. First fish was caught on the 3rd cast w/ the SMS and it went a little over 20". Went on to catch another 20 fish over the next 2 1/2 hours w/ 4 fish over 19" and the top five coming in right at 95 3/4". An amazing afternoon out there on the water... and actually got a good bit of the action on the GoPro. Hope you guys enjoy the video!
