Every time Ben criticises him, he seems to have a good game so long may that continue! It does feel like it is heading down that route but I do trust Appleton a lot more than the past few managers, and do expect him to build something once he has his own players in, not this season but next. Off the ball movement from the midfield was non-existent. All bar AMB, Watson, the 2 centre backs and 2nd half May and CBT were poor. Scott Fraser looked like a fridge on wheels that had been sitting in an IKEA wearhouse for 50 years- no speed, strength or coordination. Can’t blame the penalty alone- they should’ve been 2-0 up at HT and also had a legitimate penalty denied about 40 minutes earlier. May always had to start as number 10- otherwise with an invisible midfield the centre backs were always gonna play long balls to Michael Morrison and their other defenders who were head and shoulders above and played a deep line. 2nd tactical error was subbing off May instead of subbing off Fraser despite May doing more defending and being a better dribbler for the corner flag time wasting. We made their number 2 look like Kyle Walker. Appleton got the subs wrong and should’ve started with May at number 10 with Kanu up top. Bad day of the office which proves this side is not capable of reaching the play-offs without new reinforcements

You must have felt ill uploading that Josh. Injuries certainly an issue. The fact that Rylah and Mbick are there tells its own story but surely the most experienced players should have enough. Clearly not. It seems we're light years away. We can’t even beat teams in the bottom half FGS. WADR, if Fraser's the answer what the hell's the question?! Corey and possibly Dobbo off in Jan. Happy friggin days.
