Thank you so much for your 3 'videos' of your visit to David Austin's Garden. I thoroughly enjoyed watching all the beautiful roses together with your commentary. I saw some roses I'd never heard about and many that I did recognise. It was lovely seeing all the people walking around and hearing all the noises such as the plane flying overhead, the sound of the birds and the screech of the peacock, and even the wailing of the baby! I watched your videos whilst having a cup of tea and eating my vegemite toast and wished I could be there seeing the beautiful gardens with you.

Thanks for your comment. My guess is that they're drip fed a weak liquid feed all the time.

Thank you for your comment Amal. All the containers are quite large. I would guess at between 60cms and 100cms deep and wide.

Thanks Julia. The pots are quite large and, depending on the size of the rose, they appear to have up to 3 in a pot. I believe David Austin makes his own compost and all the pots are connected to a watering system. I don't believe there is any protection given to them during winter as we have quite mild winters in the UK and the pots themselves have a thick wall which helps to protect the roots. I hope that helps.

I have no immediate plans to go back this year as there are so many other gardens I want to visit. Unfortunately there just isn't enough time to fit them all in it seems - even when we get decent weather. Like your High Frame Rate video, perfect for shooting flowers especially rose. Producing higher contrast and more detail on the rose, better than the common 30fps. Remind me of the movie The Hobbit by Peter Jackson who also shoot at 48fps, I believe your's is at 60fps.

Desdemona seems like a solid performer, especially if you want repeat flowering and a good scent. The flowers may be a bit small for some but it seems to be profuse.
