That car is specked similar to mine. I have a 2016 Z06, 3LZ, convertible, in Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic. I have the body colored vents and exposed fiber hood too, with Kalahari interior. Love it. Wish I could have LMR do their 800 HP on mine! Thanks for the video!

The price of the car PLUS about $30,000 for that 800 HP at the crank spec, which believe me is PLENTY at the wheel and worth it in my opinion.

LMR hits it out of the park again! But I have a question...why is it that when the cylinders and intake runners are exposed they are not taped off? I was always told to tape them off,then remove tape,then vacuum before reassembling. Just curious

The tape usually goes on after the heads are torqued and valve covers go on... earlier to better for sure!

So you "usually" tape them off AFTER the heads are torqued? Also what about the TOTALLY exposed cylinders while you're cramming those headers down in there? Do you tape that AFTER the headers are torqued as well? NOT trying to nit pick but seeing that makes me question all of my learning skills lol ​@@LateModelRacecraft

You are probably hearing 5th. When they shift into 5th gear it is then 1:1

They installed the 800hp package but the dyno said 662hp. Am I missing something?

Wheel HP, not at the motor...general rule is add 20% to the wheel HP to get actual crank HP for an automatic. Edit* comes out to 794 roughly at the crank hence the "800" package.

800 hp is CRANK/ MOTOR hp. That 662hp is the actual wheel hp.

Yes, on average we see 530rwhp through the 8sp automatic stock.

Probably because it's a completely stock automatic Transmission. LMR can fix that 2.

@@vthomas2313 I totally get that but itll never be a 10 speed. You can hear the big rpm drop per shift thats much more transmission gearing that trans tuning.

As stated in the video, the packages vary on what the customer wants. Lot's of custom extras on this one...I am sure they would provide you with a basic quote if you called them. 👍

I just looked up that Ai price and THAT was in September of 2018, so my best guess is around $30,000 Dollars give or take.
