Every time I see one of your videos I remind myself that I can use the ipad as another synth....and then I don't....and then I want another synth. Very nice jam. Appreciate the inspiration.

@@mrfork and I appreciate the kind comment dude, thank you! The iPad is amazing for music production, it can be a synth, sampler, sequencer, master fx unit, or all of those things and more. It’s just a case of finding a workflow it can fit in with, the audio interface of the elektron boxes means the iPad and the Syntakt basically merge into one thing, so cool!

@@michaelnervOus thanks dude! I see you’re deep in the iPad music world, good stuff I love using my iPad in a lot of ways for music. I’ve got some pretty cool hardware but the iPad is the one piece that’s actually essential to what I do.

@@sebloulygan6809 it’s an iPad app called Transit, does nice multi fx. I use the Syntakt to trigger it so I can focus to the synth app on the iPad that’s doing the 303 sounds.

This is wonderful, I see you are sequencing the Vermona from the Syntakt, but can you tell me more about how you are sequencing/syncing Pure Acid? It looks like AUM. Thanks!
@streetdoghanoi2 ай бұрын
@@G0nz0uk thank you dude! Correct about the Vermona. AUM is hosting Pure Acid as an IAP (inter app audio) not AUV3, the reason is that I prefer managing the sync directly with the app as it needs to be super tight for such quick lead lines and I have more actual options with sync config when I use the app as standalone in the background so I handle all the sync settings directly in Pure Acid. Vermona is lined into the Syntakt and sidechained in the fx block. Also doing this meant I could use the audio interface of the Syntakt and have one less piece of gear on the table. I could get a Behringer 303 clone and do the 303 stuff there but I’d only end up sequencing it with Pure Acid anyway as the piano roll combine with the random patterns feature make it so jammable so again, use the app and have one less piece of gear. If you want to know more about my iPad workflows I have a 4 part playlist on my channel on that topic, maybe something useful in there for you also! Thanks for listening dude! ❤️ Playlist here: kzbin.info/aero/PLHzgEbQwIjLdI63AWvRLZTzw6csS77g7Y&si=_7fod96onOtquvP8

@@streetdoghanoi Thanks. I use my iPad for send effects fro my Hardware (Peak, Digitone), it's really good for that. I use AUM and separate buses for each IOS effect I have (Blackbox etc). However I do have Pure Acid which I have sequenced externally from my Hapax hardware sequencer, but I'l like to use Pure Acid's own sequencer so when I hit play on my Hapax it plays the Pure Acid sequencer instead, how would I achieve that? I'm still trying to learn AUM and your videos have been great for this. I have Pure Acid in AUM as an app, what is the difference between that and AUM3? Cheers!
@streetdoghanoi2 ай бұрын
@@G0nz0uk hey dude, just don’t send midi notes from the hapax but do send transport control. Pure Acid in standalone has a hamburger menu in the upper right that you don’t get in the AUV3. Thing is AUM won’t slave it’s clock to anything apart from ableton link, this is a problem with devices that don’t have ableton link such as elektron gear like what I use. So my way gets clock and transport to pure acid directly and then AUM just gets the audio.
