I am moving back home soon after living abroad for 2+ years and what you said about enjoying what is happening now resonates with me so much. Sometimes I feel this overwhelming weight of "Oh no. I'm not going to be living in Europe anymore" which makes me forget to enjoy the time I have left here. You're right. Nothing will ever be like this again. I won't be 28 living in Spain ever again, so I have to enjoy it instead of obsessing about how this chapter of my life will close soon.

Gosh but I love you Jenn! I thanked you in a LinkedIn post on International Women’s Day for being the big sister I never knew I needed. I love how you distinguish between intelligence and wisdom. Taking a page from Gerd Leonard, I definitely believe AI (and tech in general, really) are great tools. Our job is to ensure whatever we do with them, we do so in a way that centres and retains our humanity. One thing for sure, being human - a computer will never do!

im in my mid twenties and future start scaring me instead. I dont have career and no income, my savings got scammed last year which I have a strong feeling it was done by my secondary school classmates which I never spoke to for more than ten years. even if it was ten years ago, we never spoke to each other. I stopped social interactions ever since I was seventeen, as back then I was badly traumatised by classmates bullying me, calling me fat, stealing my belongs, removing either my table or chair, which I stopped schooling since then, back then when it happened, I didn't dare to voiced out what had happened, initially I stopped eating and my leg muscle soften to the point walking to school was a struggle even when it was less than ten minutes of walk. afterward all I did was locked myself up in my room. I was an introvert back then. everything scares me. growing up, I wish I didn't went through all these or get so traumatised by it. currently as an adult find it hilarious that I got so affected by these bullies who were a year younger than me to screwed up my life. I thought someone would be there to guide me on how to enter adulthood especially on how to get a job, I didn't understand anything back when I was in my early twenties. as I spend my 17-22 having daily headache. it only stopped when covid happened. but the recent month I started having daily headache, and whenever I go to my half a year appointment at the hospital as ive thyroid ever since I was seventeen due to that trauma, my doctor always scares me out saying ive brain tumour , asking me to do mri scan which I did when I was 18/21, which back then she was very sure but the scan proved her wrong. lately I think of the past trauma, it gave me daily headaches all over again, I even experienced brain fog on my first day of work last year which freaked me out as I couldn't even deal with the simple task at work or memorised all the steps. part of me wish there's a work at home job suitable for me, as I never gotten salary/income before. ive been spending my past year dealing with daily headache. my mom started telling me I should get a job, inorder to support myself as they worried when they aged or when they aren't around, I couldn't support myself after she found out that our current home cant be passed down to us in the future.

hi jenn, real constructive criticism here-- i noticed that your videos feel quite scripted and rigid. vlogs these days have flow and on the spot thoughts, just thought id put it in as ive noticed i used to love the structured feel of your videos but because im consuming more flowy type of content, it's hard to ignore the rehearsed and scripted feel you have in your videos. i want to soak in your content but im struggling because of this. just a thought but something to consider, im sorry if it sounds super negative but just something id notice in the content creating environment these days that people are craving for.

They also underpay therapists but charge $$$ for the mediocre service you get, and have rigid restrictions on the amount of therapists can talk to you but they won't pay extra for if the therapist goes over. Can google it and find more info if you're interested

Agreed 30s, 40s is young! I get so annoyed when younger people say otherwise 😂 I always think of it as like.. if someone died in their 30s-40s would you say that they were young or old? I would say they were still young! And doesn’t matter what age, you always have your whole life ahead of you to do what you want! Anyways age rant over. This was such a great video. How you reflect on how you’ve changed over the years reminds me that it’s ok (actually it’s good!) to not remain the same person and that I don’t always have to agree with my past self. When I was in school and we had to write an essay, it was the same as writing a test - we went to school, sat down in a classroom, we were given a few topics by the teacher and then had 1.5h to write an argumentative essay while the teacher was walking among the rows of students (so there was no chance of anyone cheating). I guess it's different in America but that is one way we could prevent students from cheating with the help of ChatGPT. On the note of aging youtbers - I think age is meaningless when it comes to creators. I like to see it as more of a quality thing - I keep coming back to people who bring something of quality into my life, whether it's educational or entertainment and these people could be of any age and I would still watch them.
