@user-qe1hy9lt5s3 ай бұрын
@@galewinds7696 Yeah, that was the main complaint, they felt we were treating them like zoo animals. I can see that and did not mind stopping operations out of respect. However, I did it for the love of Hip Hop Culture. I would take them by Sedgwick ave where hip hop was born, where DJ kool Herc made first hip hop song etc. Sometimes the Mott Haven people got annoyed at the tour of the projects. I just wanted customers to feel like they were really there living in hip hop. I didn't treat anyone bad, but some customers were ignorant and would take pictures of people on the sidewalk like they weren't human.

Trust and believe that just a few feet away from some of these areas he drove through are beautiful waterfront neighborhoods loaded with brand new buildings, shops, restaurants, green spaces, the works. Even some of the inner areas of the Bronx are fantastic places to live. Of course the rough spots are there but the Bronx is in reality a residential, business, manufacturing, distribution, learning, and recreation destination all nestled into one relatively small space. The way you edited the footage and connected different areas together is similar to someone talking and going on a tangent. How do you go north on the cross bronx expressway, make a right on rosedale ave and then all of a sudden end up miles away back where you came from going north again but this time going up 174 street and making a left right back to the cross bronx. For someone such as myself who knows the area like the back of my hand, you're editing doesn't make sense. You pulled the old switcheroo by rearranging the timeline of events. Make it make sense!
