Late nights are always a time of secret things becoming known; Whether that be thoughts or feelings, emotions and ideas, the day’s end shrouds the familiar and somehow uncovers the things once hidden in the light. It’s okay to be vulnerable now and free to wander, aimless in what you’re thinking or doing - More-so, I’m sorry that only now is the time that you feel free to feel, and that most thoughts come from bad times and memories. Yet, not every night will have this same process - One day, when the darkness comes, you’ll have something good to think and feel for, whenever that comes. I trust in you finding it. It could be in the rural countryside or the in the middle of the busy streets, rain pouring in the forever awake city. There is only you, a version of yourself so free it is impossible to lie to yourself. You can ponder what the future is all about, who we will become after these long years. In the light, the passing eyes of society glaze over us, judging our every move such as to restrict us from being ourselves. But at night, our inner selves come out without the hindrances of society, hardships, or our inner despairs. It is only you, your thoughts, your emotions, your dreams, your vision. These late nights are what truly create us.
