I flew spirit once and will never do that again. Worst airline in the history of airlines. Unprofessional ticket agents. The flight attendants were funny though. We landed in Vegas and instead of a welcome to Las Vegas the weather is blah blah blah speech she just looked at us and said "Yall can get up now!" The airfare is cheap but you pay for it everywhere else. Bags, carry-ons, hell they charge you to print a boarding pass. Trash AF. Never fly Spirit airlines.

I see this everyday working at the airport, especially with carriers like Spirit, Jet Blue and Frontier. They are supposed to close the doors 10 minutes prior to departure but these airlines close the doors more like 20-30 minutes before departure so if you aren't there you are SOL. They are trying to keep there on time record high so they won't let 1 or 2 passengers mess that up. And then they make you buy another ticket and tell you it isn't their fault you missed your flight. Been working at the Atlanta Airport for over 20 years and Spirit is the worst airline ever!

FRONTIER finessed me like this last year on a Houston to Cincy flight.... fucked up my whole day.... had to cop a southwest airlines ticket that was leaving out of a smaller Houston airport within an hour and a half (I wasn't paying attention) so I had to Uber all the way there through some extra shitty traffic, made it with less than 5 minutes to spare before they closed the gate or whatever they call that shit.
