Thank you for the informative video, it was very helpful. I’m currently on CD 31 with no sign of my period but several negative easy at home pregnancy tests. I thought I ovulated on CD 18 from reading my OPK tests but to be honest, they were confusing me this cycle by still fluctuating up and down after CD 17 where I thought I had a “peak” with a low value of .71 on my app. I ended up stop testing after CD 21, but then on CD 24 I started having a pick-up and change to my CM that was quite heavy and egg white consistency . I’m now wondering if I ovulated late

Depending on your individual luteal phase length (the timeframe from ovulation to your next period), if you ovulated on CD18, your period should arrive between CD 29 and CD 35 if you aren't pregnant. If it comes after CD 35, without a positive pregnancy test, you most likely ovulated later than CD18. Eggwhite CM is a great indicator of impending ovulation but occasionally a small amount can also be seen a week or so after ovulation due to hormonal changes. Hopefully you'll know one way or the other by now! Wishing you all the best.

I got the whole cramps and breast and nipples tenderness 10 days before my expected period day and 4 days after ovulation started with the cramps. I still got negative test 3 days after my missed period. It's going on a week and nothing still. I have never missed a period unless I was actually pregnant. I have 3 kids now . I need help. My first day of period (bleeding) was 6/7 we did the baby dance 6/12-13 I ovulated 6/14 or 6/15 Very dark spotting 6/21-25 There were also small bits in the toilet during 2nd day of spotting Today is 7/1 and no period. Edit: all pregnancy tests have been negative I documented every symptom from heightened sense of smell, emotional, night sweat, one vivid dream (there was definitely a message in that dream that warned me about the spotting) all of this just before spotting. 3rd day of spotting there was a feeling of implantation however pregnancy tests are negative. I ovulated on 15 Oct, hubby and I made love 24 hours afterward, had some bleeding a few days after..have symptoms of sore and bigger boobs, heightened sense of smell, fatigue, increased urination, headaches, increased hunger, slight nausea, constipation, swollen legs, yet no positive pregnancy test.. Im still breast-feeding and our girl is just over 6 months. Im 43 and hubby is 46. I restarted my periods after 17 weeks and last month it was 33 days in length. If it is a chemical pregnancy, would my period eventually come, and what about all the pregnancy symptoms? The tiredness is the worst.

If you didn't have intercourse before ovulation, then unfortunately it's unlikely you would have conceived. Intercourse 24 hours after ovulation is too late as the egg is no longer viable at this time. Increased urination and blood in urine can be signs of a UTI so it's worth getting these and your other symptoms checked out by your doctor. ​@focusonfertility we did have intercourse upon my most fertile day..I did stick tests for five days. I did not say I had blood in urine. I bled shortly after ovulation. It's a gift from God if I am pregnant again. We just wanted a little brother or sister for our Grace. 18 days after intercourse and late on my period by 7 days. I have taken a ton of pregnancy tests all negative. My problem is my breast started hurting as usual about 10 days before my cycle was suppose to start. As I got close to my period start date I started cramping. My cramps are still happening so I keep thinking I will start but then every day nothing and my breasts are incredibly painful still. 3 weeks and a few days of breast pain and a couple weeks of daily cramping has me feeling like something is wrong. My question is why do I have all the normal symptoms of my period without actually having my period. Could I still be pregnant and getting a negative 18 days after intercourse?

It's possible you have a type of (harmless) ovarian cyst that has delayed your period. These 'functional cysts' can sometimes cause the symptoms you're experiencing. Check out Cause #5 in the video. @@focusonfertility update: I seen my doctor and they decided to test my hormone levels and thyroid function because the doctor said that can cause missed periods. My results show I have very low levels of tsh which can mean hyperthyroidism. I have been taking medication for years for an irregular and fast heart rate and also complained of having trouble with heat and night sweats. I’m trying to remain optimistic that I will finally have answers for my heart problems and it’s all thanks to no period. Never would have thought those two things could be connected.

Please don't worry. It is very normal to have very irregular periods when you are going through puberty. Your body and your hormones can take some time to get into a regular monthly pattern.

If you definitely ovulated on CD15, your period is overdue. I am sorry to say that a pregnancy test would also be positive if you were pregnant. Is it possible you ovulated later than CD15? Ovulation predictor kits and apps are unreliable for identifying the day of ovulation, if this is what you used.

My husband and i have unprotected sex 2-3 times a week. I have been on the mini pill since my second baby was born over two years ago. However, towards the end of my last period I had to take an antibiotic due to having a bladder infection. I took it for five days, ending it 2 days after my period ended. My cycle is always about 28 days. On day 14 of my cycle had spotting which lasted two days and was dark brown and very light. The only other times i have ever spotted were all 3 times i was pregnant and one time when i missed a dose of birth control. Now my period is 5 days late.. but all negative tests. Correct! Early, late or no ovulation at all, can all be symptomatic of perimenopause. I didn't specifically mention this here as cycle irregularities due to perimenopause typically don't become apparent until the mid to late 40's (though sometimes earlier). POI is a different story however and can cause these symptoms under the age of 40. I'll be doing an updated video to include this condition shortly :)
