It’s too bad we didn’t get a picture of how small the feisty little guys were. Everyone can catch a 20 inch fish. It takes skill to catch one below 5 inches.

I didn’t think about it at the time but we should had done a catch/clean/cook video. Walleye wings, cheeks, filets battered in hot sauce and served in an amazing taco!

You know, I was thinking the same thing. At the time it seemed silly to get on film, but that actually would have added a little something.

Why not jig for them way better approach in the spring plus alot more fun than rigging

Agreed, though on this trip it was a little later in spring where the fish had started scattering and moving a little deeper, and we basically had flooding conditions on the reservoir spreading them out a bit, so we were trying to cover some water.
