Have been a long time boxing fan. I have followed Joseph Parker from his very early days. Throughout this journey- what I got sick of was the amount of times I heard- ' If Joe can do what we see behind the scenes and his in his training he will beat them etc..' Especially when he was with Barry. They never truley delivered since Ruiz. This time with the best boxing training team on the planet- Lockehart and andy Lee. There is a breath of fresh air and some major improvements. As a JP fan I really hope he truley proves those words and actually for once because this one matters. Heart says Parker and brain says Dubois (in his current form). I think now more than ever he has the tools to take the IBF belt. Box smart, box hard and avoid Dubois right hand All the best uso!

Yeah I agree with you, did you see Parker's recent interview with Darren Barker? He touched on it and saying that he either didn't take the lifestyle seriously or was over training, or both. It made a lot of sense on what we were seeing in the ring. But it sounds like he has found the right mix now, I hope he can get the win.

Parker will be winning the fight until he gets caught by a left hook that he never recovers from and dubois will win by TKO rounds 5-8.

Because Dubois has taken two knee's before and wanted out he's always going to not fully convince everyone that it won't rear its head again.. It's hard to imagine having any doubts over Daniel now after his incredible run of recent wins but it will always be lurking and always give future opponents confidence he could say no mas on another day.

I rate aj above parker, i know boxing maths doesn't work but the willingness to let his hands go, the way he let his right hand go when he knew an aj right uppercut was on its way, i can see douboir demolish parker, within 3 rounds.

@@djmorgan823 oh definitely. Parker hasn’t the power to trouble Daniel and that’s bad news- because that means Daniel can plough straight through him. I wouldn’t be surprised if it only went 1 round and I am serious. This Dubois is a world beater. His last 3 all had good chins. Miller, HRgovic, and AJ took some big shots and carried on surprisingly long. But Parker? Nah. He’s getting absolutely demolished. His chin alone will never stand up to daniels power. And the fact he hasn’t the power to worry Daniel means his defence better be his best of his life because if he gets caught he’s finished.

Gareth is backing the Britt 100% and not giving an ounce of thought with what Parker posses. Experience, speed, grit and determination. Parker's skills and the ability to adjust within rounds. Dubios is an aggressive and powerful puncher but he will revert back to his old self this fight. I think Parker to win within the distance. Adelaide and Gareth ready console the whole of Britain

Being from NZ,I obviously want Parker to win .. I just wonder if him and Andy Lee have cracked the formula for beating power punchers?..certainly,his last 2 outings may suggest so..... Thing is , Daniel's got a good Jab.. I think Parker is still developing his jab, but he has speed and good footwork,..I think if Joe can establish his range and jab early, it could be a tough night for Daniel..I rewatched that Joe Joyce/ Dubois fight and Joyce's jab really did cause him problems.. Daniel uses his jab to set up his right, so it's not so much an offensive weapon. And Dubois will need to be bloody careful he doesn't drop his right cos Parkers got a good left ,..Anyway , they are both great warriors,..may the best man win !!

"Dubois puts the frighteners on Usyk in a rematch..." My goodness Gareth A Davies, think before you speak.. Usyk outboxes Dubois easily.. Dubois beat Miller, an unproven drug cheat, hugely overweight and who had he really beaten?? He was all mouth.. Hygovic was hugely overrated, lost to Zhang a few years back but stole it, robotic, almost a Wladimir style.. The win over AJ was unexpected but AJ did not show up, I have no idea where his head was but AJ would have lost to so Parker, Wilder and Ruiz that night, he was absolutely useless, no guard at all, no distance etc.. Dubois has had a lucky run, as had Parker to a degree, Wilder is shot as well. Usyk beat the man who everyone claimed was a great.. Dubois gets humbled by Usyk, he hasn't got the IQ and if you think power is all it takes, Usyk fought a very hungry AJ over 24 rounds and was never bothered..

Dubois best win outside of AJ is Hergovic. Hergovic was never world class. He has beaten no one (everyone knows he lost to Zhang). Dubois took advantage of an AJ mistake (and weak chin) to get his only good win. Parker will teach him a lesson and with new size might even sleep him.

@ Outside of Deontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua has beaten all of Joseph Parker’s best wins, including Parker himself. The Andy Ruiz fight was close, and many believe Ruiz deserved the victory. Wilder was already washed up by the time Parker fought him, so that win doesn’t hold as much weight. However, I do give Parker credit for his victory over Zhang, which was a solid win. That said, I believe Dubois will be too much for Parker stylistically. Parker struggles against aggressive fighters, and Dubois isn’t like Zhang, who gasses out in the second half of the fight. Dubois has fast feet, a solid jab, a great gas tank, and a durable chin. Parker doesn’t have the punching power to slow down Dubois’ offense. While Parker may perform better than AJ did against Dubois, I see him either getting stopped in the later rounds or losing by decision.

That fight was Hrgovic's to win, it looked like he didn't put in the hard work beforehand thinking he could dominate Dubois like he did in sparring and gassed. People talk about Zhang gassing in the Parker fight, but Hrgovic was teeing off on Dubois at will before he gassed and was heading towards a late TKO or wide UD.
