I really like how you superimpose the plant names on screen, that’s very helpful, thank you. I’m very surprised however that you don’t grow any hostas in your lovely gardens, especially in the woodland area. Do you not like them? I would think they do quite well in your part of the world.

Thank you. I do have hostas in the woodland garden, I will show you them in my next garden tour! Apart from a bit of slug damage they do ok, our soil is very sandy so I don’t think they necessarily thrive! I’ve just put some in a large pot with copper tape around the neck and they are doing very well indeed. Thanks for watching Jenny

Dahlias are very easy to grow from seed if you’re interested in doing that. You won’t know what they will look like until they bloom but that can be fun if you like surprises.

Wow your garden as always is amazing! Congratulations on your trophy and ribbons ,I guess fresh new ideas really work . My neighbour has a paper bark maple like yours and the fall colour is spectacular . I grow a lot of dahlias also I love being able to have a fresh Bouquet of flowers to bring in the house, and share with friends. I am also a zone eight so I don’t have to take mine up either.
