Late to the Game Review: Yankee Candle Scenterpiece System!

Hey guys! Happy Sunday and welcome to my super late to the game review of the Yankee Candle Scenterpiece system. It took me a long time to pick a couple of these up but today I am finally sharing my thoughts on them. For me these will be the way I enjoy Yankee scents in the future. The meltcups seem to perform better than the candles so they seem like a better option. What are your thoughts?

Put wax cup in freezer! Pops right out! Other wax, like Walmart, vendor, etc work great in it for me.

You look good in that color of blue. Two years or so ago, they had a special deal where they had 50% off, even the sale/clearance items. I bought 14 Scenterpiece warmers that day lol. I did give a few as gifts, but I have at least one in every room of my house. I dump, clean and save all my meltcups when they are done to melt all different wax in them.

I’ve had the scenterpiece season system since they cans out... Probably 5 years ago. I really love the system and the meltcups. I do not like the mess of softer waxes and this is just easier for me. It’s a great way to try scents out too. I don’t burn too many candles anymore, though I still will sometimes melt them under a candle lamp. I just don’t want the door, and they ALL soot some! So for me, these work great.

I purchase my scent cups when Yankee has their 50 off 100 sale. Goosecreek melts fit perfect and perform well. I just put in the freezer to pop out the used wax. Waiting for my recent Yankee order delivery so I haven't tried any fall scents yet.

I didn’t really care for Farmstand Festival either. I’ve been thinking about one of these but I definitely don’t need it. I love the timer feature though.

Hi Melanie! 🙂 I don't have a Scenterpiece system but do buy the melt cups to chop up and put in tealight warmers. They always throw very well. I would definitely recommend that you try Snowflake Cookie, also one of Anthony's faves, if you can find it. (It's still made/available here in Europe.) As for upcoming Alpine Collection, Evergreen Mist is lovely as is Pomegranate Gin Fizz. I could not get a tart in Steamed Milk but some people are super excited about it. I buy Yankee candles very selectively. Frankly, I've come to enjoy and trust other companies over them. A complete break-up has yet to come. ☺️ Happy Sunday to you!

Hey Mel hunny! The Scenterpieces are always low wattage hot plates...13Watt like the one you have. I've had the owl one for a couple years now and use it for soy wax mostly, like Swan Creek. Try it with that?! They perform like the 8-12 WATT Scentsy Element Warmers. Not comparable to Scentsy's 20-40 Watt bulb warmers.

I freeze and pop out the wax, it comes right out. When I'm at the end of a bbw or homeworx I pour the remainder of the into the wax cups. Or chopped bbw candles. I love mine for mornings when I'm getting ready for work. I put mine on 3 hours and it's perfect so I dont leave it on while I'm at work. I'd like to get one for the bedroom too, where I dont like to sleep with scents going, but forget and fall asleep. I have the pineapple system, it's so pretty and classy. I got mine this summer at the outlet for like 15 bucks. I have fall scents from yankee so far.

Yankee has a sale of buy one warmer get one free I took the plunge and first time I buy there cups so hopefully it works out great

Have you bought the Yankee oval clamshell wax melts at Walmart in Cranberry Chutney? I am also sticking to those and melt cups. TFS! 🌹

ITA Melanie, I am not buying Yankee candles any longer. I heard they had stepped up their strength & throw this year, but I burned Ciderhouse, Golden Chestnut, Farmstand Festival and Farmer's Market and none of them had any throw at all. So disgusted - and I like you am reluctant to return them. I placed my first order for Goose Creek candles and they arrived today, so I'll see how that goes.

Thanks for sharing this review. I've been curious about the system especially since my last cider house and cranberry chutney candles are less than well performing. I ended up popping out the wax and cutting it up and kind of using it as melts.Thanks for sharing!❤🍁🎃🍂

I think the warmer is nice. It's doesn't blow my Scentsy out of the water or anything but its lovely for what it is.

It could just be the candles you happened to purchase. Sometimes it's a batch issue

Ehhhhh. That is not my experience with Yankee these days lol. I used to be an avid purchaser of Yankee and they are 100% NOT the same as they used to be :(
