The key to sleeping in a gathered end hammock is to lie on a diagonal and be sure that the foot end of the hammock is higher than the head end. . This will give you a pretty flat lay.

Miller Lite - great taste, less filling. 😁 I remember when you were just a toddler...now y'all grown up. 🤧 Keep your hammock straps at roughly 30 degrees. Make a finger gun to check the angle with the strap as the hypotenuse. Straps about 6ft high unless the trees are super far apart. Trees 15-17 ft apart ideally, use your feet to measure. Set the foot end about 8-12" higher and sleep diagonally. Underquilt or foam pad for temps under 60F. Set the hammock about 24-30" up, then sit in it. Adjust straps if necessary. It should settle around 18" off the ground when youre in it. The most important pro tip: have fun. 😊

Hi Nick! I love camping in a hammock, if you want a good hammock for a good price go with Onewind, i have a 11' hammock (double) with a bug net, i also bough the basic underquilt and the topquilt, it's good for 50° and up. If you want to setup your hammock right, you have to find 2 trees 13' to 15' apart max, your straps try to attach it aroud 5' to 5' 6'' and the side for your feet need to be juste a little bit higher then your head. The hammock also has a ridge line on it so it's pretty simple to set it up the right way each time. I would love to go camping with you but i live to far. Take care my friend 😉

Set a ridge line up so you get the perfect sag to your hammock everytime. Get a Double Hammock & sleep diagonally & your set. I take a Double & keep one in my truck under the seat. It's a game changer over the single hammocks especially for me since I'm 6 foot 220 lbs.

First time I slept in a hammock I flipped over got stuck in the bug net and had to cut my way out lol ..learned it's best to get ur butt comfortable in a seated position then swing yours legs in and sleep at an angle
