You guys should do a video on how to separate the instrument cluster lens from the plastic black backing and reinstalling it.

How about a pic of it illuminated with the new overlays? You showed one with the dark/ stock gauge illumination, but not one after?
@latemodelrestoration3 жыл бұрын
It is a bit darker compared to the OE black cluster design, but we offer LED's that you can swap out for a brighter light output! - lmr.com/products/94-04-Mustang-Interior-Lighting#19807

@@latemodelrestoration Well then. Still.a fail on your part. You should have shown this instead of someone having to ask and then you offer a solution, that you already had.

Is there any version of these for the KM/H version? We can't use this product for our European GT's. KM/H cluster numbers would be unmatched if we install this in EU cars.

We don't offer the overlays in KM/H but I can send over your idea to the product development team to look into it!

Anyone had issues with the sticker bubbling around the 4 pins on the Speedo and RPM ? Just installed them an been waiting for 3 hours and still have bubbling around them. I’m doing this in a climate control room.

3 hours isn't long enough for the solution to fully evaporate. Give it some more time. -Landan

Need to see the white faces illuminated before I buy...and does moving the needles throw the calibration off?

Moving the needles doesn't throw off the calibration

@@latemodelrestoration I just done see the point since ur covering the stock block guages it won’t fully illuminate like the cobras do. Just makes it white for day time but at night it won’t be any different

When adding some LED's to the cluster, it makes all the difference. Here's a link for the LED's that will work perfect with the gauge overlays: lmr.com/products/94-04-Mustang-Interior-Lighting#19807

Looks like previous owner did this to my 97 and the gauges are all screwed up

Anyone know how to change the entire cluster while keeping the correct odometer? Heard you just keep the white part on the backside if the cluster.

Would've been great if you have replaced the dull bulbs with the LEDs for a nicer impact...

Wish the kit was with a kilometer scale with big numbers instead of miles on the speedometer!

Warning to anyone who's going to buy these. They did not fit well on my 95' GT. The hole for the speedo stopper isn't big enough, and even correctly matched they don't line up perfectly. Saying it was INFURIATING to install would be an understatement. Overall a terrible product. Find somewhere else to buy them.

Hey there! We'd love to see some photos of the issues were having with the overlay not fitting correctly. This is how products get better, through customer feedback. I linked our contact us page below. It only takes about a minute to fill out. Thanks! -Landan lmr.com/contact

@@latemodelrestoration I'm not sure why but the newer year models that weren't my year (1995) were the only ones that fit. They seemed to either be a hit or miss on the GT speedo and tachometer. I eventually found it out, but the guages don't match my original GT. Which is fine I guess since it's no terrible. Anyway, appreciate the response.

How long does the glue take to set once you install these?
@latemodelrestoration2 жыл бұрын
Ricky - It depends on the ambient conditions. If you're doing this in a climate-controlled area, then you can expect the soapy solution to evaporate within an hour.

What did you break it? In all seriousness, did you make sure the connections were secure on the back of the cluster? Unless you go something wet, not sure why the cluster wouldn't work other than it being something obvious. -Landan

@latemodelrestoration yea ive removed it twice and checked the plugs. Both snapped in place and clicked. I honestly have no idea lol. Unless me moving the needle was too rough during the install? Its the only gauge that doesnt work lol
