I heard that the guy who lost to Santos actually did opposition research and found shady stuff in Santos' past. So, his team passed along the info to media in NYC and on the national level, but they were told that it was a "safe Blue seat" and Santos was likely to lose, so it wasn't worth covering in the news. It's likely that the media was a major part of the problem here.

Most food experts say that the reason why celery and carrots are still served with Buffalo wings is that they're a cool and refreshing contrast to the hot and spicy wings. Handy for when your mouth gets too hot. That said, the inventor of Buffalo wings is likely Teresa Bellissimo, who supposedly invented them at the Anchor Bar in 1964, located in Buffalo, NY. She included celery and blue cheese dressing with it right from the beginning because, well, that's just what she had left over from an antipasto platter to use as a garnish. However, they worked well enough together that they're now a staple side for Buffalo wings. So, that's most likely the _real_ reason why blue cheese dressing and celery come with Buffalo wings today.

3:21 I get the joke, but if you sweat too much, you can deplete your salt. Do it too much and only drink water, and it can be fatal. It happened to me once after a six mile run when I skipped lunch on a hot day, and I literally vomited water afterwards, and my limbs were seizing. It's called hyponatremia.

I couldn't drink it too fast because it was pretty woozy, but it definitely helped. Usually, I only really drink them after long runs, but this time, it definitely came in handy.

Sadly, not a year goes by when someone doesn't die at a major marathon from hyponatremia. It's almost always someone at the back of the pack who drinks too much water. A lot of novices are told "drink plenty of water" and "if you're thirsty, you waited too long." When you're going that slowly, you really don't need as much as people think, and when they see a water stop at every mile or two, they drink a full cup. I've had problems at the other end of the hydration spectrum and peed blood before, and as bad as it sounds, I'd take that over hyponatremia any day of the week. Balance really is the key.

It doesn't work out well while actually working out though. Having a big glass of milk while doing martial arts or hockey doesn't feel good, it's too heavy. Any performance with singing with wouldn't work either because milk doesn't mix with singing. It probably is scientifically true, I don't doubt you (it would taste better too) but in practice it wouldn't work out during a long work out. It may do better after though. . . .
