I love jason. Always hve since SNL. I only got into Ted Lasso this early winter and OMG this show is such a gem. Funny, well written, touching, smart. All the characters have such different perspectives on how people deal with things life throws at you, good or bad. For a comedy Ted lasso does manage to feel quite authentic as far as the football part goes (even though very little actual football is shown in it). But the premise of the show only works if you forget that football coaching is actually a licensed profession. To coach a team in the English premier league you need a Uefa pro coaching license, something that would be extremely unlikely for Ted would have.
