She's a cancer survivor, reducing / eliminating alcohol is one of the key things an oncologist will advise to people either undergoing cancer treatment, or are in remission as alcohol is tied to cancer rates. This is why she's drinking in moderation. I haven't touched the stuff since I got cancer and even after going into remission (as per doctor's advisement).

Also, like most cancer survivors, going easy on alcohol is kind of required... she is not going to risk her health for the silliness of the show. But I think she decided it would be funnier and more her if she pretended to find the whole thing dumb. She is not going to act drunk, that would have been way easier as an actor to do.

I hear what you’re saying. At the end of the day she chose to come on this particular segment its fun light hearted and in no way pushing anyone cancer survivor or not to drink. It pretty clear the guests do what they want. And its very regulated so when you say silliness yes its supposed to be silly and fun. And ridiculous. I think Julia, Seth or any guests are not doing this to risk their health or over do it just entertainment. There’s no pretending or anything to be done. We as viewers only see snippets of the segment posted. I think you missed the point. At this point in her life and career and also being in a safe environment on this show with people she’s known for years, she was just having fun.
