Thanks for vid. Someone told me the bigger filters don’t catch the smaller stuff. That the microns might be too big. Also, looks like you went with a dry filter. Reason why you choose a dry instead of an oiled? Thoughts please.

Like a fool, I broken down and bought a new 2024 F250 Super Duty. The wife didn't like how the old 2001 7.3 road. I'm thinking about adding some of the Banks products to the new truck. I'd like to make it run as efficiently as possible, without hurting the engine. We tow a small 5th wheel around 8K pounds, about 7K miles a year. I'm curious how you like this after 2 years? Also, what cover you recommend for the box?

Great install and Banks has nice products...IMHO, from 2 prior powerstrokes and now a 17 f350, the CAI will be limited by the temp of the water cooler intercooler. I am sure tye airflow will always be superior to stock oem filters.

I took the turbo silencer off and I still got stock air box and it sounds like a 6.0 powerstroke

Nice install I would like to do that to mine. I had a grill on my sail boat used it all the time. I live by a lake in TN and have a 22 ft pontoon now haven't bought one yet but hooked up and grilled with others awesome.

Any CEL’s pop up from this mod? Also, does the oiled filter mess up the MAF? I’m very close to getting one for my 6.7 and those are my concerns.

I gotta sinister diesel intake last week and I ran it for a week and threw my engine light on and I ran the codes and it says MAF sensor so I’m trynna find one that does do that let me know if you do

Debating to get the S&B or Banks air intake. How easy is it to clean the banks, do you have remove everything to clean it?

Pretty easy remove the top of the box I’m pretty sure maybe loosen the pipe standard stuff

I was talking about the one that holds on to the small hoses above the housing where you were looking into tubo inlet. It looked as though there is an external protrusion to attach a hose retainer. I 👀 everything... Lol 😆 👍✌️

Is there a noticeable difference in hp or mpg after install ?

I didn’t notice any power differences. Little better throttle response and it made the sound a little throatier at low RPMs. Exhaust break also seems to work better but that may just be a placebo effect
