All unsuccessful sme candidates have been rejected by Cognizant, and the company has also cancelled the ASL CIS role's onboarding. As far as I'm aware, the offers of the 1,000 campus hire candidates from the 2022 batch had recently been withdrawn after they failed the sme, and cognizant had squandered more than four months of freshers time by conducting numerous rounds of evaluation, including group discussions and telephone interviews. Even those who cleared the sme still haven't received DOJ. My advice to juniors is to not join cognizant and to stop waiting if they are unable to onboard.
