If anyone can recall back in the late '70's early 80's a plan called the Hexatron with a sliding roof that was to be built out over the lake... great idea, that never happened... was sure swept under the rug very fast for political reasons!

those bums from the county and city dont speak for us...BUILD THAT DAMN DOME. Im tired of the county and city being stuck and not seeing the future of the city and region. We always want to do backwards sh*t here and not do big things. They are the worst. How in the hell we are going to have more concerts, convention business, Super Bowls and other big time events the whole year if we keep relying on a damn stadium we use for one concert and a few football games a year.

Why not move the stadium? Or perhaps…tear down the current stadium and build a new one that has a dome?

Putting a dome over the current stadium seems to have issues with height requirements for aircraft landing, and taking off at Burke airport Personally, I think there are places downtown on a new stadium could be built, but apparently the Haslam don’t like it
