Ultimate team is the worst thing that could happen in my opinion. The time they spend each year developing ultimate team, is the reason Madden suffers every year. That time and energy could better be used to improve the game. I was really hoping they would leave it out of the college game.

@@colinfalla1744 Yeah there was , but they didn’t have to put as much time and effort into the game as they do now. Programming and technology are so much more advanced and complex today than it was back then. Madden is a prime example of how time and effort used for ultimate team, could be better put to use improving the game. Ultimate team today is generating a lot more money than it did back then, so it’s a number one priority. I mean the first thing that pops up in Madden is ultimate team when you load it up.

Yes Ultimate Team is the reason Modern Sports Titles suffer so bad. Don't believe me? Go back and look at the progression year to year in older sports games. They really inovated every yearly release. Now they remove something and then add it back 4 0r 5 years later to make the naive think they added something new. It's sad.

They should be able to use the player’s roster photo from the university site as their profile pic though. That will most likely be the photo EA uses to create the game face ( brown hair, blue eyes, square jaw etc) as well.

Never believe that UT wasn't in the game - it's the cash cow on the Madden side. Now the thing I think caused the delay was trying to build a new recruiting system that considers the Portal and NIL as well as kids out of HS.

I’d love to see them take some of the “legends” and do some sort of remake of the Classics mode from NCAA 05. I used to play that for hours. They were ahead of their time with that mode. It would be a great way to replay some of the biggest moments we missed from 2014-2023 and recreate or change the outcome.

They did that with Heisman Challenge back in the day. It was pretty cool. It was basically just Road to Glory but with a former Heisman winner and you could go to a different school than they did in real life

Obviously the stores have to have room for the physical copies to be on the shelves for the release date but what about the systems like Xbox series S or even the steam deck or anything like that where it’s digital systems You don’t think that they would release the games there especially with EA play and stuff like that or do you think just so it’ll be more organized they have a release date for physical copies being the same day as digital

I will start off by saying that everything has a beginning, middle and end. Maybe the heyday for sports games are behind us, who knows? Over ten years is tough to lose in game development. That said I have several things I would love to see included: 1. Much more realistic recruitment in dynasty. Somehow all those coaching tree earnings never seemed to mean anything. Usually couldn't sign instant commit players early starting out, AI could. MAC, MWC, SBC schools signing 4 and 5 stars. Laughably bad player attributes for too many high ranked players. Strange generation of recruits like a 5 star Tackle thats 6-2 and 270-290, as one of many examples. Hopefully that's mostly resolved. 2. Bring back team and player discipline. This was a faulty, bug filled feature from the PS2 days, where you could never run a clean program but if much improved, it brings a real-life feel back into the game. Do you suspend a player or say screw it and take the risk of sanctions? As long as they get rid of the points system and give you ability to cut a player as well, its a great addition to bring back. 3. Use a College Football Revamped method of player progression or regression, in-season and off-season. Spring camp challenges are fun, sure, but most good teams players improve and bad teams players regress through a season. It definitely needs fixed.
