my 1st project way back 2010 was bell pepper and ampalaya, all drip system, bought online from america. It's just a manual valve control. I was introduced to it by youtube also. Now, all the available parts are in shopee, from drippers to automatic fertilizer inducer to a simple venturi powered fertilizer inducer and cheap sprinklers from china. way back 2010, the parts were limited only from american online shops and it was expensive. Now, it's cheap and available thru shopee direct from china. I have no formal seminars about drip irrigation back then but thanks to youtube we are updated in these kinds of technology. If farmers can do a simple plumbing system, they can make their own drip irrigation.

Super very informative. The Hydraulic system that controls the solenoid valves will open depending of the designated line to open. This are good engineering technique and can save time on manpower our Agrifarmers and business companies needed to accelerate and save manpower and long term expenses. Hurray Philippines....we are coming we will feed the world

With regards to irrigation technology, there are a lot of factors to consider. To name a few...your climate and weather, your crop, your funding, labor availability, your farm location.

There is so much potential for farmers in the Philippines using automated drip irrigation. Maganda ung objective, but I think hindi ganun kaclear naexplain ng contact ni Sir Buddy kung anong product line nila, what are they really selling and how the farmers would really benefit from using their products. Sana po nagtagalog na lng ung taga Irritec so he can send the message across clearly and effectively. Looking forward for other local companies and experts in the Philippines who can explain the how to's of drip irrigation.

Parang malinaw nman po na automated/manual drip irrigation system with remote access control and agro-weather station for data gathering with rain gauge that can store data up to 5 years.

That’s been being use in the USA. It you have a large amount of acres will be applicable. How much the cost of it. I can see also a disadvantage, the water balloon supply is it always flowing. I don’t think so .

Di na bago tong drip irrigation technology. Farmers may opt to avail DOST's SETUP (one of their programs) for upgrading their operations and mechanizing their farms. Zero interest na at payable pa for 3 years with 1 year grace period.

@LeleAlilio sinabi nya nga galing ang command sa transmitter pero binanggit nya in the earlier part na pwede ma-access sa cellfone, cguro as I understood now, iba iyong sa meteorological data access at iba iyong sa controls ng valves, ganoon cguro. You cannot control the valves from the cellfone, only from the transmitter.

this kind of automation isn't practical why you must consider all the things from the start up to harvesting, what i mean the planting with can't obstruct the watering, maintenance, fertilization etc up to harvesting, I think a simple way is what they're doing right here in the US where practicality and easy way and mass consideration not time consuming or obstruction etc. as what I see the kind of watering here is a little bit tricky why in times of harvesting everything will be an obstruction if you use this kind, the best way for watering is maybe movable with wheels up in the air going back and forth automated is the easy at the same time it will not obstruct afterwards specially when time of harvesting comes specially if it's mass harvesting period
