It looks very stable. I can see a strip foundation, but no damp proof course (barrier layer) against rising damp. Is it nesessary to use reinforce concrete in the walls?

For those who don't know, this building is laid with common bricks, meaning the building will be rendered and then painted, if they were laying face bricks, meaning bricks that will be on display, then they would lay them accordingly, why fuss about making a wall / building pretty when it's going to be rendered ?

The work is not that great. Many bricks are broken and there are a lot of cross joints. The bricks should overlap at least 4,5cm. The joints should be filled with mortar and they should include a stretch course after a couple of header courses to bind the wall together.

This is not how you build a wall, very dirty and unorganised way of doing. Using way too much of cemented clay and excessive space between bricks.
@rajkumarsaravanan66746 жыл бұрын
Fahad Mirza sir they use mofern light weight bricks hence to satisfy the loadbearing structure the mortar thickness should be great

There should be a tie rod to wall and column will give more strength. It's my point of view.
@rajkumarsaravanan66746 жыл бұрын
khadar babu i like ur comment veru much
@rajkumarsaravanan66746 жыл бұрын
khadar babu But there is a probability of excess load transfer to the wall at the point of tie rod so that cracjs may appear

@meragaonmeradesh34125 жыл бұрын
They are using dry bricks which is not acceptable and first column should be cast with proper mix and verticality then brick wall to be made.

R.C.C columns, concrete laid first then construct brick walls, the procedure showing is wrong.columns are loosing their center of gravity positions to carry super imposed load to the foundation.
