They do. Mets take Soto it’s a massive shift in NY and MLB. It’s pretty obvious. Cohens not doing all he’s been doing and building a 3 billion surrounding areas around Citi field to be second fiddle. And being from NY I can promise you the new hot thing is what’s on top forever and always in Ny. Soto leaving is the microcosm of just that.

Without Soto the Yankees are a team that doesn't even make the post season. See 2023. If they miss out on Soto, their WS window is over for the next decade. How Yankees fans like you can be so delusional after 15 years of being crap is beyond me. Only 1 pathetic WS appearance since winning in 09 is what small market teams do. Boston, LA, Houston, and SF have been there multiple times and won in that 15 year window.
