@@thebiannualtravellers the original Tebrau Highway viaducts were replaced under the EDTP because 1) height too low for OHLs 2) one of the 2 original viaduct was actually more of an underpass with the space of only a single-track, which is likely the reason why that was the first of the 2 to be demolished & rebuilt, in order that the 2nd track can be installed below while this new 2nd viaduct is being replaced, which they are doing now. The 2nd new track is more of less completed already

After Operational…conduct a drill on how to manage “10000”.. people in the event of a breakdown or system fault..,

this simulated mass evacuation drill / fire drill is definitely a requirement (in Singapore Context) before the service can commence to test out the egress systems and plans.

Such have to be conducted even before operations, in not just an event of breakdown, but also matters of national security like a terrorist attack even in the ICQs

How does the construction process for the center feature work? (Esp the middle most one that marks the border) Do workers from both countries access to work on the piece?

Hi, good question, i believe the iron workpiece is delivered from malaysia side, and i saw the delivery of the sky lifts using a barge from the SG side. so i would assume the workers are from both Singapore 🇸🇬 and Malaysia 🇲🇾.

No. RTS line is meant to be an entirely separate line for security purposes. We can make new rail connections from both stations, but not an extension of it.

Workers are the same.Different is that no house,less basic needs less electric and water to be use ,since Malaysian workers stay in Johor Bahru plying everyday to Singapore.So it can be said less burden to Singapore than workers from other countries that have to stay in Singapore making more crowded to Singapore enviorement and surrounding houses or flats ang public transport
