The Blazing west skin went from PEAK to Mid with this revamp that NOBODY asked. The skin is barely even themed around Old west. Aldous and Franco lost all their menacing Aura. This particular skin of Layla was unique because none of her skin showcase her being malicious. Esmeralda had a very UNIQUE outfit you barely even see in the game only to end up getting a new that's extremely generic and that also removed most of the details. Claude is just a clown it's way worse than the current one like the colour as so oversaturated for NOTHING instead of improving it they just made it worst. Splash art also became lame especially how many started noticing some bits of Ai enchantment (not surprised they are at the bare minimum of their own creative).

Do you even know what the old west even look like? Because the new designs are closer to western than the old ones and imo an upgrade if you care about the cowboy theme. The only criticism I have is the overused gold accents and loss of the black and red pallet but cowboys wear white, brown, or tan.

this revamp just feels like a censorship so that they can release these skins in the CN server, they removed designs that depicts skulls, guns, esme's old daring design and so on... I think the new skins are great if you don't see the old design and didn't know its origin... The original looks more menacing with its dark color palette its more of a mix of apocalypse and wild west, while the new design leans towards the wild west but more vibrant. I think other squads like Lightborn deserves a revamp, for being the most expensive skin in the shop they should have flashier skill effects... They look like special skins compared to the new epic skin releases

In my opinion, the skill effects of the revamped version is definitely better, on the the other hand the new skin models is the one that just don't feel right, it feels steampunk-ey and less badass, I hate the new colors, they made the colors of like the "really hot metallic weapons" looked like gold. What I want to see is them to keep the badass-ness of the skin by not removing too much feature, for example Esmeralda, she looks badass in the old skin, but in the new skin she looks sassy because they removed the dress and completely changed her outfit out, and then Layla, she looks like a barbie character because of her bright colors. They also removed that mysteriousness vibe that the blazing west gives. In short, keep the skill effects, make the model of the characters look more of the vibe of the topic "Blazing West" cause they made it look less appealing by using bright colors. Again this is just my opinion don't take it seriously, and I'm definitely not good at English so sorry if there's bad grammar.

New blazing west got some cool touches on its effect but otherwise I'll still think the old one is better. Not too flashy with a mild dark scheme color that compliments its criminal-like lore while the new one feels like somewhere on superhero-ish or instead of criminal, they become the bounty hunter. Really hope they just update their effect based on their old design.

I do not enjoy the skin update on the Blazing West skin line at all. Many people have expressed very similar opinions here, and y'all are so true on that. The skin effects are good and the sfx are good, sure but leave the damn skins alone! You can update the skill effects but DONT FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING HOLY AND UNHOLY! DO NOT TOUCH THE SKINS! Layla and Esmeralda's skin changes is not an upgrade. On the contrary, a DEFINITIVE downgrade. Loses all the personality and uniqueness. MAYBE I DO WANNA SEE HER AS AN ILL PLOTTING GUNNER! GIVE HER AT LEAST ONE *BAD GIRL* AESTHETIC SKIN! Also, for Esme, they tried to go for a Latina vibe. Her current skin represents that WAY better than what that AI generated bullsh*t tries to communicate. Franco is... fine. The fx didn't change much... But the cape is not a good fit. Keep the shawl. And Claude... I just think the og one is better. He already has a few bond skins (Christmas & Summer come to mind). Bruh, NO!. Aldous' fx are an upgrade but the skin itself loses its authoritative and commanding presence as a chief... JUST ADD THESE VISUAL EFFECTS BUT DO NOT CHANGE THE GODDAMN SKINS!
