Also how many specimens were tested is important, one animal can't represent its whole species. So giving solid numbers for bite force isn't really reliable, it can easily become pseudo science like in the case of hyenas, sure they have a very strong bite for their size, but it has to be proportional to their size as well, it can't be stronger than a bite of a male lion which is 2-3 times its size.
