the arm isn't random bc of Jinx. that has never been Jinx's motif. it's random bc we know from season one that Sevika herself enjoys gambling, we see her do it multiple times. Jinx personalized the gift bc she's always been the one to pay attention. That suits the dialogue of the episode better too

I love how they put emphasis on the Arcane or Magic aspect of this show. There's Hextech: refined, logical, essential and progressive. Then there's Chemtech: cunning, synthetic and cynical. The next one yet to come is with Viktor: raw, omnipotent and objective.

Correct: Don Bluth directed Titan A.E. And it definitely fits in the realm of Arcane as far as cutting edge animation. Having recently rewatched it, there is so much that is fantastic, and little bits I laugh at how it settles itself into that late 90's era with the edgy music etc. I still wonder how Arcane will be seen in the future, especially with the music. Maybe a bit edgy like Titan AE to look back on, but the story is still so universal that it should stand the test of time. For some reason as I was commenting I reminded myself of Cool World, which had music from My Life in the Thrill Kill Cult in it, and I had a good laugh.

I don't think so. Many details are telling it's not, tho yes there are similarities and even tho I don't believe it I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up to be true. Also POSSIBLE SPOILER WARNING ⚠️ Viktor never was connected to time traveling even closely, I don't see why Arcane would change that.

I think with fewer story beats to hit, we're seeing a bit more camp sink in - and I'm getting not particularly favorable Luc Besson vibes so far. It is still, however, the most compelling series on tv, so I shall revel in the audacity before my critical brain kicks in later...
