That turned out great. I have the 14x30 version and we love it. Thanks for the video!

I’ve seen almost every pool build video. This is by far my favorite. So tasteful! Wow! You’re actually not far from me. 😀

Came out great. My wife and I have a 16x35 pinnacle to be started in June. I have been watching videos like this on KZbin for a while, this project came out great. It’s surprising how much more you have to spend besides just the pool lol electrician, fencing company, etc it adds up! Enjoy!

Yes, there are definitely cheaper options out there. But we’re happy with it and with all of our choices and there were no surprises. Congratulations on your upcoming install! How long did you have to wait for your installation date? My pool guy is almost two years out! A combination of people staying home (ordering pools) and supply chain problems. Our pool guys opened our pool on April 11 and we also ordered a cover cleaning. Now, if the weather would just cooperate! We do have the heater set at 70 right now and we’ll crank that up to 85 a few days before we use it for the first time.

@@Noelle1000 nice! We closed on our pool contract year n half ago lol and now my pool guy is booked 2 years out minimum. It’s crazy. Ours is gonna come to about what you paid as well. Our fiberglass pool was $73k, $8.5k fence, $8.4k retaining wall, and about $8-$10k for electrician to reconfigure n trench lines. We’re converting an old barn to pool house n pool in paddock area so it’s an overhaul. But we can’t wait till it’s finished like yours and enjoy it.

So on you last pool you wanted more deep end, any regrets or things you’d do differently this time, around? How is your heat pump? If good could you share the model?

Why the use of bracing if the construction is of good quality ? Are the sides that flexible ?

Looks great! What was the total cost of this project (pool, equipment, fence, autocover, stamped concrete)? We are looking to do something very similar.
@Noelle10002 жыл бұрын
Easy question…complicated answer! I think the basic pool package included - fiberglass pool (choice of white or blue fiberglass) transport crane pulling permits 4’ of plain concrete all the way around pool filter installation I believe that base package was about $50k. Note - our pool is a large fiberglass. Smaller ones are much less. Our upgrades - Custom color fiberglass - $2000 Fountains - $6000 Auto cover - $12000 A gazillion extra yards of concrete - $32000 Stamped (extra) and colored (extra) concrete - included in the above price Sidewalk drain - Not sure Heat pump - Not sure Saline system - Not sure Ozone filtration - Not sure So many truckloads of fill to level our yard - Not sure Retaining wall - $3000 (we bought our own blocks and had a crew put it in) Fence - $3000 (we bought our own fencing and had a crew put it in) Reconfigure damaged sprinkler system - $2000 I’d estimate that all of this was about $70k. So the grand total is approx $120,000. This does not include the landscaping/labor.

Looks great!! Just one question why go though the work of using hard pvc pipe on the whole project and skip out on what I am assuming is the flex that waded for the fountains? And why use ball valves instead of J-Valves?

@@Noelle1000 about to start one just like it with heat/cool pump. About 1000sqft of extra concrete. Extra $3750 for coping. Waterfront very high tide line so extra 6K for water pumping and tie downs required. Opted out of a few water jets. Base price was $89K but expecting to be around $100K when finished.

can you build a tall retaining wall by the pool as a planter and water fall feature?
@shadesofvintageblue2 жыл бұрын
I’m in GA and it have to be a fence with a lock gate. You can still place a wall feature and planter in front of the gate and pool
