Maybe you could call it the Scarab? It skitters along (or skims along) and from the front, it's a gnashing and vicious little critter. And it burrows inside its enemy and chews it up from the inside, kinda like the Scorpion King movie scarabs.

I’ve spent the last week designing my own ships in FTD, which I haven’t done in years. You gave me the motivation and inspiration to do so, and it’s a blast. Small strike aircraft are brilliantly fun. Explosions everywhere. Oh, also, there is a drill in the steam section I believe. It’s under the one of the propeller/propeller shaft tabs :) Edit: Oh! I think adding some 'wings' using sails at a 45 degree angle would be useful as a distraction tool. Place the beacons on the outermost parts of the masts and it gives it a nice Khorne feel to it. You could call it the Nibbler, since it's oh so cute and ever so hungry. Blood for the blood god! .. and snacks, because he's hungry as well.

Hey lath, If you want to improve your turning speed, on your pusher engines on the back if they are not at the center of your craft add . 25 or -.25 respectively to the turner setting. You lose hardly any max speed but it increases your turning speed greatly. And it helps not over correct whenever you lose your left or right pushing thrusters!

you should add spike like harpoons full of ram blocks that if an enemy is at the side of the craf it can fire melee spikes to the side, idk if that would count as melee then or if it is even possible but it would be a really cool defence form the side.
