Her last name was ‘Kinney’ like the street in Santa Monica. I wonder if she’s the granddaughter or slightly younger descendent of ‘Abbot Kinney’ who devised the elaborate canal system of Venice, CA in the late 19th century after traveling extensively through Europe, and the South Pacific?

The highway crossings here in Santa Monica really need updating especially on the the Palisades side (they are not handicapped accessible at all)
