I like the way you broke it down. Good for students who are new to Latin. I teach rhythm technique and something that a lot of students and having trouble with is balance. It would be nice if you went over these steps in another video and explained the balancing technique and where your body weight is. Also I love the Bible verse on the wall. ✨

The two-camera split screen could be better. I'd suggest the second screen is a shot from behind so that there is no confusion between left/right movement. That is, it's easier to follow while watching it. Well done series. Thanks!

@@ballroomwithalexey3951 Ha! I can relate to that. Here's an easier idea that would be just as effective: In addition to the front-facing demonstration (great to observe arm motion), demonstrate again by turning your back to the camera and counting out the moves. The viewer can practice and replay as many times as necessary. Offering a back-view demonstration would be very helpful in your videos. Yes, I'm dancing in front of my monitor! :-)

Very well taught! Beautifully deconstructed into components, demonstrated slowly and then pulled together as good teaching should be. It may also be an idea to video from the back so that the left and right sides are the same. Even after watching this I still found it difficult to coordinate my movement which means a lot of viewings, short practices and loads of repetition to make new neuronal pathways!

Ballroom with Alexey I took about 3-4 days on exercise 1 only now moved onto no 2 also. Exercise 1, bent leg faces forward not towards side. I had to watch closely. I think the main action is the hip rotation then everything falls in place. For exercise 2, my self instruction is shift.....settle, shift.....settle but I watched your move a number of times for the fine details, the pixels as you put it! The vertical spine is crucial for the settle posture to be meaningful.

I noticed when trying to turn the hips that I felt there were two ways to do it, one using the front (pelvis) and using the back of the hip (the butt). Both felt very different... if this makes sense to anyone, would you tell me which is the right way to do it? using the back of the hip feels more natural, but feels wrong, the oposite is true when using the front. Thanks!!!
