It’s actually a remake of a 90’s song of SM. You can watch the original in SM also. The singer is S.E.S. 1st generation k-pop. So that you can compare the original from the remake. A 23 year-old song ☺️

In my country, songs that are redone are called covers and movies that are redone are remakes. No one calls songs remakes here so sorry for the confusion re terminology.

Aespa is really young , but their style is kinda feminine but mature not too cute , and the beat is going so well with the all thing. With Dreamcatcher , Aespa are the only girl kpop groups I really listen every day.

This is actually a remake of a old song by S.E.S a old SM group. I’d definitely check out the original MV. It’s for SMCU Express ever group in SM are going to put something out in the coming weeks. I think this is the first year they’re doing something like this. They did a documentary for KZbin Original’s about the behind the scenes and how they made it. Like the MV, them recording in the studio, struggles etc.

if you see original MV you see a lot of references and why they made decision to do certain things. BoA did amazing job overseeing this. Robot rap - I think it's gibberish and I think it's suppose to be. "Robot language" ... as SM likes to be at the cutting edge lol (I am Korean & I'm 99% sure that isn't any dialect I know on this earth lol which I'm ok with. just a little bit of weirdness is why we love SM.)

The very original song is actually by a Finnish girl duo called Nylon Beat from the 90s (1996 to be exact), a song called "Rakastuin mä looseriin" ("I fell in love with a loser"). The song was really popullar for some reason and S.E.S. made a version of it in Korean and there were versions in other languages too.

No es un comeback, es un remake de STATION, parte de los proyectos de SM para este fin de año. SM a estado remasterisando sus mv viejos de los artistas de 1G con mejor calidad de sonido y audio. En este caso, hicieron un remade de Dreams Come True de S.E.S. interpretado por aespa. BoA fue directora, productora, etc de este remake. Como también, una de las chicas que era miembro de SES, trabajó en la letra. Este remake estará incluido en el álbum de SM que está a casi nada de salir, donde todos (la mayoría en si) de los artistas/grupos bajo SM participan en el, haciendo colaboraciones entre sí y todo eso.

I think aespa is the most complete and coesive group i have seen so far. The only thing they lack (but i hope they work on it) is stage presence and facial expressions ( in mv or live performances)

They do have it, it’s just that their style is harder to have certain expressions with. “Black mamba” era for example if you look back at their performances, you notice that they seemed more comfortable. Both their recent title tracks require a lot of changes in style of singing and choreography, so I guess that they focus more on that. But in the end they’re still rookies, so there’s always room for improvement.

Makeitright They don’t. I have seen many live performances of them and I can see they struggle a lot with that aspect. However, as you said, they are still rookies and with more experience they are gonna get better at that, I hope so. The characteristic that I praise the most about the group is that they are incredible and versatile singers.

I think this is a bs opinion and people should get it out of their heads. I want to see someone dancing to Savage or Next Level with emotion and pulling of facial expressions to it. The song and choreography isn’t made to go all out when performing it. It would look so odd if you did all of that while performing it. I mean they trained under SM. I don’t think they would debut 4 Girls that don’t have stage presence and no facial expressions.
