Camila is Cuban Mexican not born in America she migrated here as a child with her family when she was 5 years old and got her citizenship in 2008. She has always used her platform to always stay true to who she is helping stand up for Dreamers and other issues no one else has! I appreciate how she writes her own music and isn’t trying to be mainstream! All these are her concepts and ideas coming to life! 💕

Camila is 100% Latina. She actually came as an immigrant at the age of 6. She was born in Havana, Cuba and her dad is Mexican and her mom es Cubana. I'd say she's one of the most "Latina" Latinas in the industry. Considering that Jlo is American born and Spanish is a second language to her. But the video is about her not wanting to lie anymore about her feelings. By the lyrics I assume something had happened between her and Shawn before her last relationship since they been best friends for life 6 years before deciding to date. Pero who knows! Either way! If you watch the BTS she explains it pretty well. Basically she's lying to herself saying she loves the other guy but she knows that she's actually in love w/ the bus boy, so until she admits the truth to herself she finally wakes up and stops reliving the same day... and Camila was actually born in Havana, Cuba and became an immigrant in the states in 2008 (i believe) when her family moved to Miami
