When it come to Asian idols, actress, singers and etc.... It's really important to keep their image clean, no trouble. That is why they don't want their artists to drinks, smoke, no tattoos, no scandals just anything will mess up the image. If you haven't notice when Blackpink or even BTS when they are in USA. They can be more free and being themselves vs in Korea.

@@lalalammone3650 I think Bobby was referring to their trainee days since I remember Jinhwan said on an interview (I forgot what interview it was) that BP, iKON and Winner are really close and they treat each other like brothers and sisters, also they really interact with each other not just work related stuff, there's even a time where they were about to leave the stage of an award show, when they were nearing the exit, BP and iKON members started to talk with one another, also there are award shows during the finales where all artist are on stage then Winner and BP were really showing how much close they are like Mino playfully dragging Jennie out of her group, Lisa removing a confetti out of a Winner member's hair (I forgot who), Mino taking a pic of them, Mino giving them his camera for BP to use and also how Bigbang started to tease BP when they seated next to them... One thing too, there's an interaction between BP, iKON and Winner that was captured by the vlive of an award show, It was an another angle of the vlive, it was I think on the basement, BP, iKON and Winner didn't even know about the vlive since you can see that Rose was so shocked to see the camera when she was going up stairs, you can see that they were playing in the arcade together and having fun, they were crowded on a 1 vs 1 fight game and they were taking turns on playing, also Jinhwan was spotted using Lisa's ukelele which btw is really hers since she showed it already before and there's a sticker there which shows the word PINKS and Jinhwan was seen playing that, Jennie was also spotted talking to Hanbin's mom, I think it was inside YG building and lastly, it's not easy to call someone "oppa" if you're not that close yet but we've heard them call their male labelmates that a lot of times already... I think them not interacting much on camera is just to not create rumours since that's what happened between Bigbang and 2ne1, they showed their friendship too much on camera and they were so carefree about it that it created multiple rumours, YG is just being more careful with his artist now, YG Ent was know to be the most carefree company before but it changed since he needed to protect his artist because the medias always try to find something and throw some baseless rumours to drag YG down that's why he needed to prioritize his artist more than staying with the old YG feels

Los idols pueden beber, de hecho es común mirarlos beber en programas o blogs solamente es raro verlos en fiestas o clubs. En Corea toman mucho alcohol por lo que no es raro, pero siendo idols quieren tenerlos con una imagen limpia es decir nada de drogas, cigarros, fiestas, sexo, tatuajes, etc.

Bahara Alizadeh that’s a lie. Y’all watched a fake video on the internet about what they can or can’t do and run with it. The tattoo and car thing is right since those rules where put before the 3 year period which is very critical. But when it comes to alcohol they can drink just not when touring because everyone knows alcohol messes up your vocal cords. They are all allowed to drink, haven’t you seen them drinking wine with their meals?.. they are full grown adults and alcohol is very essential for socialising in korean culture it’s reallly nothing wrong. Jennie even posted on her IG her drinking £20k champagne in Paris and you are telling me they aren’t allowed? People like to think YG is very strict but he really isn’t, none of them have dietary restrictions either. Plastic surgery is completely understandable, a lot of idols look very good but mess up their visual with unnecessary plastic surgery and the image of a group is a brand, and when it comes to dating that’s literally every group in kpop but is still relaxed. Jennie dated and didn’t face any consequences if they were in JYP she would’ve gotten kicked out for sure.

As for the dating, as you said every agency has it, but even in 2ne1 days. the girls could date with permission from the CEO. BLACKPINK drinks alcohol. They post pics of themselves drinking wine and stuff. Jennie even had a pic of her drinking a $19k bottle of champagne in Paris. Edit: The clip with Jisoo calling people out was because of a certain "scandal" that was spreading pertaining to a live stream Jennie did. In the live stream, Jennie just happened to clap her hands together while talking and a comment from a fan popped on the screen at the same time that said, "Clap if you hate YG." People use that clip to prove that BLACKPINK is suffering and trapped by YG, etc.
